Great content. Loving all the new builds the community has been pushing out. This build seems like it would pair nicely with the Extended Weapon Customization mod. A red dot on a headhunter autogun is chef's kiss.

I was just messing with this type of build, too! Couple of extra benefits: 1) if you’re in a bad PUG that isn’t covering each other, stealth lets you reposition to teammates who aren’t paying attention, 2) if a teammate gets captured, stealth lets you run past everything and get them up, and 3) the build also works with the recon lasgun if the team needs more help clearing hordes.

The script for this video was gold. Informative and fun. I personally prefer the indepth table creation, but I feel that would be good as in indepth review of a weapon, rather than a build video like this. And the gameplay demonstration is nice to show us how to play the build. Very well done ❤

I like how the skills were shared in an order of a script with the talent tree in the end because it helps with communicating the thought process behind the build and what is expected from it. Made it more interesting and i was even convinced to try it at some point.

The Vraks 3 and 7 HHs have become my new favorite Vet guns. Very satisfying to use. Also shoutouts to that psyker who just sat there channeling Smite while you whittled down a plague ogryn with a shovel

Ive been running almost this exact same build but with the team buff ability, works really well too, with it you're more of a stay in the middle of your team sniper that takes out elites and specialists

I've fallen in love with the Mk III shovel, myself - its alternate fire can one-hit a mutant and can quickly take down ragers and maulers that get in too close, and it comes with the standard crowd-slapping primary attack that can clear hordes with ease

I like the format, its nice to see the build in action while you talk about it. Please also add subway surfer and subtitled family guy clips to keep my attention.

Really good video. One idea to more clearly present the talents would be to have the tree up on screen as you go through each talent. It helps me visualise it as you talk through each choice and why.

Love the guides man, I've run a couple of your builds and enjoy them will try this one for sure. Sometimes when I use the headhunter rifle i get a weird animation glitch when I ads and fire where it almost tries to fire twice and does weird glichy things.. it's super annoying cause I wanna try the gun more. I have the same issue with the charge sniper sometimes when I'm popping in and out of ads the gun doesn't fire (animation) but I'm still getting kills ... odd little bugs.

Vraks Mk VII is my go-to weapon for my veteran! It is a karking beast of a weapon if you build it for weakspot damage like you have here. I have a build with the same idea of long range damage, but with the augmented volley fire. The infiltrator stealth you use seems so good though, not even just for damage but for the ability to revive a teammate safely… might have to try running this. Cheers!

Lololololol. The metallic thunk when You clobber an enemy IS satisfying. I like to get up close and nasty though so instead of sniper I tend to run a close combat full stealth rig out with a stub revolver and either the shovel or my favorite knife that has flesh tearer and lacerate. Bleeds every hit and eats hordes

Format is good, though you definitely need to keep some of those on screen for longer. The change to Surgical had really made a lot of weapons a lot more viable and run to use, especially for the Veteran. I'm really loving the variety of builds we have now. I used to use the exact same feats for every build, changing only 1 here or there. It's excellent.

A very cool idea. I love the entire repositionning stuff with infiltrate as a sniper. Sure, volley fire gives you more damage and tactical awarness, but in those clutch moments, this got to be a gamechanger. Have you checked the new "surgical" perk on lucius patterns tho ? If not, you may want to try it on a lucius mk3 without the onslaught blessing, especially for anything related to sniping and absurd damage potential shenanigans :D

I like this format it's free flowing with a little fun flair and flavour. Hopefully one day we get the long las in game. There really is no shortage of weapons they can put into this game.

I actually have a build very similar to this. But I use the auto ADS rifle instead. And it's pretty dope. I call it my "Navy Seal build"

Personally I think having the whole tree shown quickly before you go through the key nodes would be nice, this is because if I wanted to test out this build later and come back to this video having it quickly available at the beginning would be nice. When they eventually either add attachments or a long-las, this build will be epic. Or the opposite and it's like a stealthy rambo-esque Catachan commando that stealths up to an enemy and plants a satchel charge that wipes a horde.

First built I made was exactly this. I always double tap everything with the Vraks tho, counting for recoil is already second nature.

Sniper overwatch has a nice lil thing I see you doing (at least in the intro, I'm watchin while typing) and that most people dont seem to either talk about or completely forget: Vantage points. There are plenty of places where your team drops down from a higher ledge that provides a nice vantage point to rush ahead to the enemy, or you have to hold somewhere where theres a nice vantage. One of the Logistratum raids has a particularly nice one, the one with the big open trainyard at the end. Only one member of your team (preferably all 3 of em) need to drop down to start the next objective but if you stay on top, you have a perfect shot at almost the entire trainyard. Same thing with that semi-circular open air arena (i forgot the name of that mission) where 3 power cells are needed to open a vent-gate. Your team drops down, but you can remain on top to provide covering fire. Just be aware in both cases, enemies can and will spawn behind you to try and take you out. In most cases it's fine (just regular melee units) but it gets tricky when a hound or trapper gets you by surprise, because your team cant get you at that point.. ..well, maybe a voice of command veteran can, but most cant. It's still pretty neat. ..though i HIGHLY discourage the use of long-distance vantage points away from your team on Heresy or Damnation if you're not used to it, and your team isnt aware of it. ..Auric Damnation Maelstrom is just a no-go in general because that's straight up suicide.

Cant wait till you make an ogryn playthrough the slab shield and feels great with taunt abilities. you can taunt ranged opponents on block with it.

I would present your builds the same way Claystethics does, as he not only goes over the why but shows a full layout of the tree at the same time

Stamina drain on deadshot can get you in to some bad spots but I found on my build with the Vraks 7 the +25% crit is the difference between 4 bodyshots and 5/6 on flamers on average. Put Ghost on mine which is a fair replacement for unwavering focus when you need to stand in the open and take gunners, t3 is 1s range immunity on weakspot hit so as long as you keep hitting heads they can't pop your toughness, reapers are trivial because they have big heads, don't know if it works on snipers. Chainsword is solid but can get you in trouble, backed against the wall it''s hard to get space for heavy swings and I've been hit by crushers and netters I've used the charge attack on or it hit something else and I've been hit while locked. Pretty good for mostly melee maelstrom missions though because you can take ogryn patrols without using ammo.

This is why we need scopes, even if just a 2x option.

There's a mod that condenses the talent trees enough to fit them all on a single page. You could use that for easy visual reference while also explaining your choices along the way.

This is basically my current vet build haha. Headhunter and deadly accurate on the Kantrael XII is such an incredible combo now if you can hit your shots, and infiltrate has such incredible utility. Shooting at yellow outlines is a lot more boring to me.

tip: the krak nade is not necessarily a sticky bomb ..its a magnetic anti tank bomb like the germens used in ww2 only its got a far far stronger magnet .. some enemy's you need to acutely aim for shoulder pads..or ectara ... but the result is normaly the same...more so if you have bomb tinkerer

Hey, I usually play stealth as a gunslinger + Melee hybrid with veteran, but your sounds great too! I got 1 Idea for your build - Maybe switch 2 Stealth Charges for the -90% priority after leaving stealth ? I feel like this would work great for your build, since it is so focused around never being in melee anyway, so you really never need 2 Stealth charges back to back. the lowered priority however keeps enemies away from you a lot longer even after leaving stealth, allowing you to benefit more from the "no enemies within 8m range" abilities.

how do you get the crosshair to stay up when you ADS? is that a game setting?

Finally i can compare my ranged stealth build to someone that knows what theyre doing XD Edit: so idk what your build is going for but mine does WAY more damage and feels much more like a marksman stealth build, yours feels more like a balanced/variety build. Taking ammo aura instead of damage and not taking the stamina use for more shot damage drops your damage amount by a lot, it helps preserve your stamina and ammo, but you're missing those sweet high damage headshots

I'm assuming this build accounts for Auric Maelstorm. The problem I see with Killzone is that with some modifies some enemies will always been within 8m of you either due to higher dense hordes and with waves of specials modifer there is a guarantee to be a mutant or two in your 8m radius. Solid looking build I may give it a go as I run squad leader vet for most of my Auric Maelstrom games.

Huh, my build is a little different. I didn't bother with any of the team supporting passives because I figured that I'd be away from them for the majority of the match thus would not get much out of them. And I picked smoke grenades instead of krak grenade because there had been times when I was stealthed, lost it and was immediately pinned by a platoon of shooters plus gunners and reapers. I've also been tinkering around with a grenadier build but I can't decide if I want voice of command or infiltrate more.

Soloing a plague ogryn with a shovel is top entertainment, tbh.

Hello, i really appreciate ur build, but i would like to know how did u get your crosshair, i really hate the iron sight of this weapon.

I agree completely on Deadshot. It just doesn't work for me. The stam drain has me way to easy to get dropped from behind and always chugging along to try catch up to the squad. Yet the uptime drain when aiming/firing is very fast so it loses value quickly, and then leaves you slowed and defenseless. I found crit elsewhere. Hellbore and Kantrael various crit blessings plus various other crit talents do well in making up or it if you want a crit build. You can get a pretty high rate of crit (especially if you can hit weakspots consistently) without Deadshot. I will also say to maybe hang on showing the skill tree a bit longer. Even just 5 seconds or so with a bit of music isn't too much.

Hey, there's a glitched interaction I found with Psyker's new smite ability and the middle keystone tree, if you have just one stack of that middle ability, smite won't generate any perils, allowing for infinite lightning

I didnt got a chance to get in the game yet do to workload. Did they really delete the perk that make you got ignore when stand still? I kind of get a hang of using that for a time now.
