I never understand why music is always required for these youtube montages. Isn't the sound of a race car enough? Maybe I forget that this generation of race fans supposedly doesn't care (know?) what a race car should should like.

Come on, this is supposed to be entertainment! They have music on the "race edits" on the official F1 site. I don't get why "engine noise" is SO important to people. It has NOTHING to do with performance anymore. What I like is seeing the "g-force" indicator on the "fastest lap" videos, that tell you EVERYTHING.

It's not a matter of performance, it's a matter of sound. There is no better music than an engine singing from inside a supercar, why the hell do they have to spoil it with a different, useless background music?!

VJ SWORD If you don't understand it then I'm just feeling sorry for you and I doubt that you are even a real Ferrari fan. Engine sound means everything and without it I neither want Formula 1 nor a Ferrari nor any other car.

Thierry Henry Ricciardo barely outqualified a unmotivated Vettel 11-8, and thats with a car often broke down in quali as well, in the races a few bad moments like at Canada Hungary and even that off at Spa at the start when Ricciardo stole those wins from the Mercedes jokers, make no mistake Dan is quick but with a 2011 or 2013 car would he have even outqualified Vettel over a season? We'll see what happens if the Mercedes are not as quick as last year and we'll also see if Ricciardo can lead Redbull, most people will be shocked by Vettel and Ferrari this season, Alonso might have jumped ship at the worst possible moment, we'll see, oh yeah didn't Rosberg outqualify Hamilton by 12-7? Funny that...

When it closes to sorting out a car, Alonso is not even in the same Solar System as Seb! Helmut Marko was recently quoted as saying that perhaps RBR misses Seb's technical input..., I guess the proof is in the pudding as Seb slays Mercedes in Malaysia. Go Seb Go!
