We are growing tomatoes in mid December with the Vevor diesel heater in our greenhouse. Those of you who follow my channel know we can never grow tomatoes here. But with this heater we are growing tomatoes while it is snowing and freezing outside.

I really love this heater. I am not just saying this. I mean I really love this heater so much I plan to get two more of them. One for the garage and one for a backup for the house.
It burns about 1 gallon (or less) of diesel fuel per 8 hours. We run it during the cold nights to keep our plants growing.

Definitely would save your back not having to process so much firewood. I would have at least two Carbon monoxide detectors though but they seem very safe.

I heat my van with one of those heaters. On it's lowest setting fuel will last days in Pahrump, Nevada.

Yes as much as I can. I am expanding our use of solar more and more.

Nice heater! I’m wondering if I should get one for the gray shed? Eventually it will be a work room of sorts…

Nice to see you finally realized you need a heat source in your greenhouse but surprised with you being an offgrid solar guru you would go backwards to using a dirty fossil fuel like diesel and requiring grid power to function. Not sure the vegetable yield will out weigh the fuel and power costs? Fun experiment though.

There are other benefits of us using this heater out in the greenhouse though which I will reveal later. It is not just a greenhouse. It has my gold sluice box permanently set up. I am putting in battery charging stations in there. And much more. Its a heated work place AND a place to grow food. I will be showing much of that over time.

Idk if its the same company but I have a Vevor 3500 watt power inverter and its build very horribly, so bad that it keeps self destructing and blowing up on me. its extremely sadly built

Nice little heater! Since you plan to heat your greenhouse, what do you expect it to cost to heat for per month?
@dennisadam420
@dennisadam420 6 месяцев назад
If a gallon of diesel is $3.50 per gallon, and you get approximately 8 hours of heating from just less than one gallon, then a 24 hour period would cost you just under $10.50. So 30 days would be $300.00 to heat your greenhouse. Will you get $300.00 worth of produce a month? If not, it just does not seem to be a logical way to spend your hard earned dollars!

You can divert a portion of the exhaust fumes (CO2) inside the greenhouse and your tomatoes will appreciate it. Be careful though, because it may accumulate and pose a health hazard to you when entering the greenhouse, if not monitored.
