How do y’all edit y’all’s high strength shaft to fit over the motor input gear without the cartridge so the high strength shaft doesn’t loose grasp of the gear to spin at 3600 rpm?
Is the string you used allowed for in game use? The team I belong to found a way to launch stuff without pneumatics, but just could find and long string on the vex parts page.
where do you get the thin metal 24t gears? I saw something similar on 210Y's robot reveal for tipping point. Didn't know if you bought them or machined them.
Any reason yall do not have tracking wheels, do you plan to redesign and add them? How are you still able to have a very accurate auton, I thought tracking wheels were essential.
Will u guys have possession problems, it seems that u used reversed intake as an indexer, but won’t it shoot the discs out while u have 4 discs inside and u have to reverse the intake?
I wanted to formally ask 4082B if I could use their party popper endgame idea, but could not find any other way to contact the team. Is it okay for me to use it?
There is no cartridge, the axle is mounted straight to the motors gear output. The motor runs at 3600 rpm, with the blue cartridge, it divides that by six to get 600 rpm. They simply did not put a cartridge in it, so that is why the fly wheel spins at the speed it does. They essentially just got rid of a lot of complexity with gearing and stuff and just mounted the fly wheel straight to the motor. A good idea I must say. If it’s legal, I’ll hafta use it
