I'm in the UK, VFC changed up their recipe, the inside of the fillet/burger originally had the texture of a tire 😨 but they listened to their customers immediately and improved the texture for us and its getting pretty popular now 😁
Oh yeah! Its finally in the states! Ive been waiting to try these. I saw them when they first came out. They are very supportive of saving chickens from the farming industry. I concur, I LOVE CRUNCHY!
VFC is definitely now my go-to 'chicken' substitute here in the UK. I bake them in the oven and they come out fantastic. Particularly love the popcorns, haven't seen the 'bites' you have, but we also have tenders which are longer and slightly fatter than the popcorns. The fillets are great in a bun with lettuce/mayo, so if you haven't already please do try. There's also a VFC rice 'one-bag', but not so keen on that. Btw, love you guys and your reaction videos! 😍
Wait- $7.50 !! Are they flying it on a private jet directly from the UK per order 😱 damn... its between £3.00 and £3.50 here from The (online)Vegan Supermarket , which is like $3.70-$4.30 ... ooofff , hopefully it gets more popular and they make it cheaper for you 🙏🏻
@@MakeItDairyFree sometimes, it would seem. I don't wanna trash them though, there are probably overheads that I haven't considered. Supply and demand I guess 🤔
I'm not worried about them fibers these are good! 😂 I can't wait to try these. I'll be on the look out. I've tried the beyond meat chicken nuggets. Along with the gardien. Can't do the impossible meats anything. So I'm always happy to see something new. That the whole family will eat. Never hold back! We need to know. With prices of Vegan meat alternatives and regular meat staring to be the same or less expensive in some cases. More justifiable and people are more willing to trying it out consistently. But I love food and good vegan food. Less guilt and healthy. Win win. I love seeing what you guys review. Always steering folks in the right direction on things to try out!
The intros are becoming Andrew's cries for help. "I donno what I'm doing here, people, I just wanna go home." I have heard good and bad things about this brand from UK people . . . nodding to the camera and telling us it's "edible" without sauce, OK, fine! Will give them a try if I see them locally! Thanks for posting : )
It's so odd to see how different the packaging is in America. I know when I had these they almost tasted stale. I'd been supporting them from before they were in Tesco. At first the ingredients didn't include soy so I bought some for me and my friend who can't have soy. Then I got them and they did have soy. Was so annoyed. They didn't taste great and they cost twice as much as my next brand. Even in the UK Gardein are cheaper and they're the most expensive protein in my supermarket. Was such a shame.
Can yall do a video review on honeymama candy bars, i believe they are vegan friendly they are sooo delicious and have small ingredients in them. Definitely recommend! Love the channel 💙☺️👍
Totally off the chicken subject but you were talking UK / us the UK had a delicious looking ice cream from wicked kitchen and I've never seen them put out in ice cream but if you guys see it anywhere in the US you should definitely try it and let me know because that look like I could crush the whole box 😬😬
All wicked kitchen ice cream is too nice, think they've got the Berry White sticks in the US now, they're too good, non vegans have said it's better than dairy.
Same. I was so excited when I found Daring in the store, but was disappointed when I tried it. The cardamom is overpowering and that flavor doesn’t work well with some recipes. If they change the recipe in the future, I might give it another try.
Vegan chicken is pretty good in general. Probably because there's so much filler in the real stuff lol. I actually prefer it because there's no gristle. And this is coming from an omnivore that tries to reduce consumption and gives up animal products for Lent. Mostly whole foods are tastier and healthier tho
