Haha, exactly. I really like how it addresses the artist's job of imagining the final result, and then going backwards to figure out how to get the needed look. Why waste time on a simulation (or detail), when a "simple" map will suffice and sell the shot? Work smarter, not harder 😊

There are multiple times throughout the Netflix Daredevil show where they shine a light into the actors eyes displaying he’s blind because his eyes don’t react to light. They do closeups of these shots and everything looks so genuine and real, it blows my mind every time.

Could you guys do the intro animations for some TV-shows that exists? I've been obsessed with Westworld intro, His Dark Materials intro and The Wheel of Time intro and would be interesting to see what you guys think of that kind of animations. Maybe even a future challenge for you all to make opening intros using one specific song and see what people come up with or whatever.

I was thinking the same thing. Do an episode devoted entirely to tv intros.

Yeah Wheel of time has really gorgeous animation even though the series is kinda meh. Take a look on bahubali2 title cards . Those really good as well.

Yo Westworld's intro is so mesmerizing and otherwordly. Truly makes me feel like I'm watching alien technology at work that we couldn't achieve in hundreds of years.

@@Scripture-Man I think they mentioned in reddit that music videos are much more of a problem when it comes to copyright and fair use stuff so that's why they don't do music videos reactions. Otherwise I'm sure they would've done it by now.
