Caraxes and vhagar are my favorite designed dragons. Caraxes looks like a cool flying fire snake and vhagar looks like she crawled out of a damn swamp, but in a good way
“Blood Wyrm” is the phrase you are looking for as that is its by name. “Caraxes The Blood Wyrm” 😉. And “I” call Vahgar “The Sea Cow” As you are correct, she looks like she was drug out of a swamp or the sea. She has no horns and looks just strange compared to all the others.
Caraxes really stuck out to me as a unique design, not only in look but in sound design too.. vhagar is awesome too, a hulking monstrous creature and the show really sold that. I do however really vibe with drogons/his siblings designs as well. They're more traditional but still executed Extremely well. If I could pick one to have as my own it would be drogon. What dragon would you pick? It can be within or out with the show to make it more fun? My pick outside would be the bul dragon from Reign of fire
@@shannondavis3686imagine if she eventually lost all of the horns just like people loose their teeth with old age. Honest kinda makes sense considering that she might not be able to produce enough material in her body to maintain those. And once horns fall off, like real ones, they don't grow back if there is no blood supply at the base of it or the base is gone. Considering that people depict her are having horns in her youth maybe that's the case
Hours later, not days. He died from blood loss, but yes, he literally went on a suicide mission to take down Vhagar but Burying his jaw onto her throat. @@who5301
Didn’t they kill each other like vaghar died by crash landing in water and carexes died moments after crawling out of the same water because of his injuries
I half expected him to mention Vermithor. His nickname “The Bronze Fury” should put him as the fiercest. Caraxes is a beast and Vhagar’s definitely a tank.
Also vhagar is a siege dragon good from a distance. Caraxes is a battle dragon always up close and has to be more aware to avoid danger. Vhagar is used to her size preventing confrontation. Caraxes thrives on confrontation. Also with trust in riders. Daeomn has fought many battles with caraxes so always tested
Because he created them so he gets to decide! It’s not down to you, me or anyone other than George Martin. So, take it as fact that both Vhagar and Caraxes could handle Vermithor and every other dragon.
@@Piotr12396it’s the next book in the series. The 6th book overall. Everything that happens on the show post season 5 is completely been written by the show themselves. The books finish with the nights watch killing Jon snow.
caraxes was half the size vhagar was, less experienced, less strengthened but still he manages to take down vhagar and swim ashore alive. Some say he died laying his head on daemon's arms 🥹🥲
I never would have thought that the dragons would be mean to each other I was really surprised to see the big one swallow up the little one I thought they were friends
The little one (Arrax) breathed fire on the big one (Vhagar). Vhagar's rider Aemond hated Arrax's rider Lucerys and chased him to scare him. Vhagar is a war dragon, she didn't chase to scare, she was out for the kill. Arrax tried to defend himself and his rider but only angered Vhagar more, and she killed him.
George Martin created the dragons so he gets to decide. If he says that Vhagar and Caraxes are the most formidable, then take it as gospel from the author that both them could handle Vermithor and every other dragon.
No way man targaryens are evil how can you side with madness and violence and burning things. Team Stark and team sand all the way since episode 1. Stark men are cuddly and sand women are hot.
@@iditarod4081 wake up to reality got is not about good or evil its a game in which you have to win throne and become powerful .......and Targaryens have dragons no one can stand infront of dragons
@@qpishjunior4772 I gonna said that Vhaegar is a dragon of War, and as an Animal he is feed regularly, unlike Cannibal, an Untamable Dragon who feed on carcases and hunted, fought other dragon for a better position on dragonmount, but that's my line of though
The dragons are created by the author so he gets to decide, not us. So take it as gospel that both Vhagar and Caraxes could handle Vermithor and every other dragon.
So is the creator of all this shi forgetting his own dragon? No. Because it's FAN theory that's Cannibal is the largest and strongest dragon. That was NEVER stated in Fire and blood
He would have a chance Yes . But not that certain as you’ve mentioned . Vermithor Meleys Caraxes and Vhagar are the top 4. All are able to defeat one another . But maybe Vermithor is the 4 place . Very big , very powerfull , but not the greatest in any aspect . A bit of generic 2 biggest Dragon only . Caraxes Meleys and Vhagar would probably defeat him easier than the other way around
@@gravedave7970caraxes and meleys would likely get destroyed by vermithor. Vermithor is almost as large as vhagar and is just as strong. Vermithor is probably the only dragon currently that is able to match vhagar size and power. He wasn’t nicknamed “The Bronze Fury” for no reason
Why would you ask such a ridiculous question? The author and creator of all the dragons has just told you who are the most powerful! Why even mention Vermithor if their creator didn’t when asked directly? Take it as fact from George Martin that Vhagar and Caraxes could handle Vermithor and every other dragon.
@@mohammedismail147Did the author and creator of all the dragons say that? NO! You’ve just bloody watched him say that Vhagar and Caraxes are the most powerful, meaning they could handle Vermithor and every other dragon. George Martin created them and not us, so he gets to decide. I’ll say again that the creator of all the dragons has just said CARAXES AND VHAGAR ARE THE MOST FORMIDABLE, NOT VERMITHOR!
@@mohammedismail147Caraxes is more battle experienced than Vermithor (Vermithor has fought 2 wars and Caraxes has fought 4), Caraxess is the most fierce dragon after Vhaghar, he has the best agility, he is faster, he is younger and as George R.R Martin said - "Caraxess doesn't give a s*it and will do anything to his foes if he wants to, as he did ro Vhaghar". And now if not talking about Caraxes alone, Caraxes with Deamon are an instoppable force, their bond is legendary and is the strongest and best bond between a dragon and It's rider out of all Targaryen dragons and their riders. And now again to Deamon and Caraxes, Deamon Targaryen has ridden Caraxes for 26 years and has fought with him in 2 wars, Deamon is also considered to the strongest and best dragonrider during his time and one of the strongest and best dragonrider out of all the Targaryens, he and Visenya Targaryen arw considered as top 2. While Hugh Hammer has no real dragonrider experience, he has never fought in a war (both Aerial and on ground), he has only ridden Vermithor for almost 2 years while Deamon Targaeyen has ridden Caraxes for almost 27 years (Caraxes vlaimed in 105 Ac), Hugh Hammer isn't a warrior, he can't even speak valyrian fluently, he hasn't yet learned how to properly control his dragon, both in war and during fly tour. Dragons are the most important in the fight, but dragonriders play also an important role, with experienced dragonriders smaller and less experienced dragons can take on the bigger boys, a minor reason why Deamon and Caraxess could take on Granny Vhaghar and her spoiled child.
Nope. Pure FAN THEORY. Fat guy right in front of you? Yeah he created the Cannibal and every other dragon and never once stated in any books that Cannibal is larger than vhagar
Nah, that's just a fan theory. The Cannibal is a very large Dragon but not as large as Vhagar. The only Dragon in history that was larger than Vhagar was Balerion The Black Dread. I remember years ago when I watched an episode of Game of Thrones one of the characters said that when Balerion used to fly above King's Landing the people could not see the sky, he was so enormous, he would throw a shadow large enough to cover the whole Kingdom. That's just bonkers...
@@GrimspecteR. I agree but I think he’s right up under vhagar in size I think he’s bigger than vermithor. I thought Caraxes was bigger than meleys but she’s not but she is a better fighter
My guess is he limited his answer to the dragons introduced in season 1 of house of the dragon. Vermithor wasn't really introduced till season 2, and the Cannibal hasn't been shown at all in the show.
George Martin created all the dragons so he gets to decide unfortunately. So, take it as fact that Vhagar and Caraxes could deal with Vermithor and every other dragon.
Because they will. What do you think House of the Dragon is about? The Targaryen Civil War. The dance of the dragons. The battle of Harrenhal is where vhagar and caraxes meet
those thinks are very spoiled even for those who never read the books .. :)) every time its speak about vhagar and caraxes .. let the ppl to have the vibe when its needed not to know thinks ..
SPOILERS! There is only one weakness that Vhagar had, and Caraxes exploited it completely. It's wings. Or the wing membrane more specifically. A dragon and rider can kill Vhagar, but be prepared to die yourselves. P.S. - There was one thing we noticed with Meleys, unlike Arrax. After a certain point in size, even Vhagar is incapable of snapping their necks off. Kill, sure. But not decapitation.
He isn't as experienced as these 2 dragons, Vhaghar and Caraxes are both more battle experienced and more fierce, Vhaghar is larger too and Caraxes is swifter (the fastest after Meleys) than both Vhaghar and Vermithor, Caraxes is younger than both and he has the best and strongest agility out of all Targaryen dragons. Vermithor unfortunately hasn't reached that rank yet and never will😢
@@stueyguerreiroAnd remember their riders, Vhaghar having Aemond Targaryen and Caraxes having the legendary and strongest and best targaryen dragonrider (after Visenya Targaryen) out of all targaryens dragonriders - Deamon Targaryen, while Vermithor has Hugh Hammer, a rider who has never seen or experienced war, has only riden Vermithor for 2 years, can't speak Valyrian (only a few simple comandings like Dracarys), he is nor a soldier or warrior tho he has strong physics and has never ridden Vermithor into battle, and yet again he is new to all of this dragonriding, he hasn't fought in a battle except for "The Battle of the Gullet", he can't command his dragon properly nor speak with it properly. While Deamom Targaryen is considered the dealiest and strongest warrior in the realm during his time, he has ridden Caraxes for almost 27 years since 105 Ac, he has ridden Caraxes into 2 wars, Caraxes has fought in 4 wars, and their bond is considered legendary and the strongest and best bond between a dragon and It's rider out of all Targaryen dragonriders in ASOIAF history. Aemond isn't so battle experienced himself but he is a fierce warrior like hos uncle, he has only fought in 1 war (the dance) and has ridden Vhaghar for 10 years.
@@ibbemenim775 I completely agree with everything you’ve said my friend. You clearly know your stuff. Maximum respect to you, The Rogue Prince and The Blood Wyrm. The most legendary duo in the entire history of Westeros after Aegon and The Black Dread.
