A touch of Eiger North Face feeling! The Rotstock via ferrata is easily accessible from the Eigergletscher station via the Eiger Trail and is located on (the right side) of the famous Eiger north face.
The via ferrata with difficulty level K2 is pretty easy. However, the entry via several ladders is quite exposed and in general you should have some knowledge of alpine terrain. The descent over the western flank of the Eiger to the Eigergletscher station is given as T4 and is relatively steep (several fixed ropes are attached). So I decided to wear my alpine mountain boots, which I was definitely happy about in the end.
