A reupload of a previous video due to RU-vid's terrible editing feature. Video originally from 09/26/2016.
I happened to be in the right place at the right time tonight! I was biking home from dinner at my parents' house and as I pulled up to the crossing, I noticed the train idling just to the west of the crossing. Just after I crossed, I heard the train start to accelerate, so I quickly stopped, turned around and decided to film the train crossing. This is a prime example of just how long trains can take to cross here in this city. Previously, my longest train video was almost 6 minutes long, although that was with editing (without it probably would have came to about 7 min). As you can see, this train takes over 11 minutes to cross! It was quite long and going quite slow, and thankfully, it didn't stop and block the crossing, which wouldn't have surprised me if it did, considering it was going into the rail yard. This was filmed on my fairly new iPhone 6S at a rate of 60 frames per second. I apologize for the shakiness, but 1: I didn't have a tripod (I wasn't anticipating this catch), and 2: I was trying to film and maneuver my bike at the same time. All in all, I don't think I did that bad, lol. Hopefully next time I'll have a tripod so things will be less shaky. Anyway, enjoy!
