I adore how you cover psychological aspects - for all humankind! You have seen so much contained in homes without judging.❤ I enjoy your CFW and believe everyone can benefit.
I went for a country hike with two friends , I wore a comfy pair of walking shoes that I hadn’t worn for maybe 13 years. Part way through the hike my feet started to feel very sensitive, I could feel twigs and pebbles as we walked. But kept on walking. When I got home, I took the shoes off and saw the entire soles had vanished , I was walking on the thin inner soles! Lesson learned. 😮
You two have such excellent advice and have helped who knows how many people with these weekly videos. Since my daughter started a cooking channel, I've become aware of the importance RU-vid puts on the number of subscribers and 'thumbs up' a channel receives. That tells them if the site is worth recommending, (put on their search engine) when a person is searching for information that site has. As great as this channel is, it should have a lot more than 21.5K subs. If you would add to 'like, subscribe and click on the 'thumbs up' if you're on RU-vid' when you're doing your 'please visit us' section, I'm sure you'd get more of both and this channel would grow and help even more people. Because of time you're live, watching on RU-vid is the only way I can see your videos, and I'm guessing that's true for a lot of people. Thanks for all that you both do!
After some thought, I solved a situation with my housemate. I really wanted to have a quick look-through (his) stuff in the storage room before we put up the heavy shelving. He wanted to wait until we put up the shelving. So I asked him as a favor to me, if he would take ten minutes for a quick look through the stuff. Framing it as a favor to me made it ok with him, we did take about 30 minutes but got so much cleared out, moved a (buried) table next to his comfy chair which was great for him, and today we spent another 10 minutes having a quick look at some other stuff. So now the decisons have been made, shelving can go up as he wishes (I don't have anything that needs shelving in there so I don't care either way).
Yes, use it or lose it. I've had to throw away old comfy pull-on chino pants, because the waist elastic dried out & the only way to keep them up was with safety pins.
I really appreciate your video. My father passed away back in February....I miss him....but, he was a born again Christian....and, I know I'll see him again in Glory. Eph 2:8&9 It's interesting that I was listening to your podcast as I was working on "paring down the clutter" in our garage. My crafting area is in the garage( along with other types of areas....tools...gardening supplies...and misc)...and, as I was putting together a 12x12 picture of an American eagle carrying an olive leaf (possibly) against the backdrop of our nation's flag.... I'm reminded of the flag that was used in my father's funeral....I am proud to say he was an American soldier who fought in the Korean War. However, there's another reason....freedom to let go....freedom to have a more open space...freedom for a brighter future. Thank you so much for the hope that you both share. ❤

I had a brand new of Nike sneakers but the bottoms fell off brand new but hid in the closet so now I’m walking around with broken sneakers but they’re clean n white
A decade ago, I tossed a lovely pair of leather chelsea boots when I went to wear and the rubber sole had deteriorated. I wish I’d known then they can be resoled. Did it on another pair and was $40 or less to save them. 🫤
