His real name is Samuel Bark and I used to watch his amateur fight when he started in Sweden. This guy sets the fucking standard for Swedish muay thai and, along with the Teymur brothers, should be considered the standard for muay thai in sweden. Hope he transfers successfully into mma

@@LawrenceKenshin A lot of swedish muay thai fighters get very comfortable fighting amateur. Like Sofia Olofsson in Glory, despite fighting in Glory she wants to fight in the amateur nationals which makes no sense from any perspective. Same thing happened with once super prospect Sanny Dahlbeck. Not a lot of fighters are getting out of their comfort zones in Sweden but Sam is amazing in that regard. Would love to see some breakdowns on swedish fighters, I think Martin Holm have some neat tricks that could be fun to watch

@@paulwilkinson8977 it's hard to explain for me. But Damon has more pop to his punches a snap. It's much tighter and clean compared to Samuel if you know what I mean. Samuel some punches looks telegraphed arm punches as Damon really torques his body and snaps his punches giving it more explosive power. Not saying Samuel doesn't hit hard it's that Damon's much more defined technically 😅 if any of that makes sense.

He is a very energic, fast and powerful striker. I'm not seeing his opponents moving around, feinting or avoiding damage because Muay Thai style is very stationary. In MMA, fighters are constantly moving, feinting, faking, etc...which will deny most of this guy explosive style. We will see. Thanks Mr. Kenshin for the video, high quality as always.

as always, fantastic breakdown. I have a question: When he sets up the big left and right hooks, his stance widens quite considerably. I know he's already within his striking range and clearly applying a ton of pressure, but wouldn't this open him up for some very very hard kicks from the right opponent? Would love to see a breakdown of someone countering a more boxing heavy style like this by exploiting its stance openings.
