@@vercoda9997 yes I saw one video where the 'boyfriend' was stuck in London because of the earthquakes (we have no earthquakes in the UK) and one was on an oil rig near Rome. The nearest oil rig to Rome is probably near Norway. All the European accents are different and in many countries there is more than one. In the UK accents are completely different all over the place. Even a small country like Scotland has distinct accents.

It is messed up that he acted like that of course, but I think the scammers generally try to sound like whatever they think their target wants them to be. So she may be giving off a vibe that that's the type of guy she'd go for. She did say that the last one before the scammer was verbally abusive. Maybe she mentioned that to the scammer, and so he figured he'd have the best luck acting like that type of guy. Also he probably figured he could make her feel bad for his employees, so she'd send the cash. SMH 🙄 I can't believe she sent 50,000 bucks WTF and maybe more. Then when they showed her the real guy and he's a Russian politician she started getting angry at that guy.
