Victor Borge (1909-2000) Dán zongorista-karmester. Humoros zenei előadásai révén nagyon népszerű lett Amerikában. Ez az adás az ausztrál TV-csatornák egyikén ment le 1980 szeptemberében.
@@jefolson6989 very narrow field! this woman Nicole Pesce did at least this one (don't know if she did anything else): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OaZveHbxAYs.html
In 1994, I finally had a chance to see Victor Borge in person - 30 years after I first saw him on TV. Even at 85 years old, he was still every bit as animated, funny, talented and entertaining! He showed me that playing music is not something that has to be serious all of the time, which is why he remains one of my primary influences along with Frank Zappa!
Feels so... dumb (!) -- and yet utterly irresistible -- laughing at an elderly gentleman falling down on his piano. Victor's stuff never gets old -- what an evergreen...!
@@leonid3312 Which operas have you seen to be able to say that you don't like them? If you haven't seen any, then you can't really say that you don't like them can you.
Oh my god can‘t stop watching this video over and over🤗 So sad that such funny heartwarming people are already gone. But it is a gift that the memory of the movies and videos remain. My children love him. So I do.
One thing I liked about Victor Borge was his ability to ad lib. Hardly a concert went by when he didn't deviate from the script -- when there was one, that is!
The world desperately needs more humor. Victor's slapstick comedy let's us laugh at him and ourselves. The most brilliant exponent of the art of comedy that the youngerly wish for.
oui , vous avez 12:49 eu une sacrée chance. De tels artistes sont rares. Quand je n'ai pas trop le moral , je le regarde sur Internet et je me sens tout de suite beaucoup mieux. 😅😅
Victor Borge is such a treasure. I have loved him ever since hearing the album he did, of Hans Christian Anderson stories, as a young boy. I played it over and over. I still do, sometimes, even today.
I have an old recording of this routine and he left out two of my favorite jokes... The baritone comes in singing "Toreador, toreador!" but he finds out he's in the wrong opera and, the soprano, before she dies, sings an aria, the so called "die aria". Miss him.
Between the Russian communists and the Nazis we were fortunate to provide a home here to many extraordinary artists, musicians, writers and scientists. Europe's loss, our gain.
His piano-playing remind me of Vladimir Horowitz. His smile and talk show remind me of Sir Charles Chaplin. He does these things naturally and how great it is . I thank GOD for his bornning in the world.
Hi all, I have some rare footage with Victor Borge - recorded in his native country Denmark. He partly speaks Danish, but I have applied English subtitles for those parts. This is the playlist (Enjoy!): ru-vid.com/group/PLCby7t-aPVUksdwJPSy7ov7-tHibgxC4h
When he Started talking about a method to learn any language and proceeded to talk about tape recorders and cassets, I found myself uttering the words "Dude just use your smartphone..?" .. and then I thought "oh...hmm".
@Rinn Skayf: Oh you kidz! Back in MY day, I remember the first cassette player I had. It was a wooden one and the tapes were of banana leaves, stripped. That's 'cause plastic wasn't invented yet (remember this was way, way back - almost 2370AD y'know). And it took me almost 3 months to carve that wooden cassette player out of sand, no kiddin'! Sand *IS* hard to carve. Emma! Emm... oh there you are, dearie! Where's my enema? I need to go now. Ta, dear! @Rinn Skayf: Do you want me to tell you how I captured and domesticated the world's first smartphone? I googled Amazon on my WhatsApp and ordered take-out with a side order of Windows 8.0 And now do you want me to tell you how I froze my first . . . wait, let me finish ... but, but I haven't even started yet!!! Oh OK, I can take a hint. I know when I'm not wanted. Bye! (But remember, any time you want me to tell you how I did something, all you gotta do is vissil.) HC-JAIPUR
