France’s men’s basketball team, already having their ticket punched for the 2024 Summer Olympics, are in the process of playing exhibition games while the Basketball Olympic Qualifying Tournament takes place. And in the meantime, these friendly games for France vs Germany, Turkey, etc. are giving us a first glimpse at the pairing of Victor Wembanyama from the San Antonio Spurs and Rudy Gobert of the Minnesota Timberwolves on the court together. And when you’re talking about pieces like Guerschon Yabusele, Matthias Lessort, Bilal Coulibaly, Theo Maledon, Frank Ntilikina, Evan Fournier, Nicholas Batum, etc, they are one of the most entertaining teams we will have to watch in the 2024 Olympics.
