I was OBSESSED with the overly long sleeves on her sweater and the way she held them in her palms when this video came out. I miss early solo-spice years 😭❤️
It's sad that people still think Victoria can't sing. She has very beautiful and unique singing voice. Her vocal skills really show in songs like Do You Think About Me, Weekend Love, Holler, and many other songs like this one.All the Spice Girls can sing greatly.I guess those people don't know talent when they hear it.
Yes! She has a good range and great voice and technique. Always my favorite! But she gave up, her singing was slammed for no reason, she was never given the chance to shine......there's a reason she was.set.to be the lead vocalist originally.....she can sing and very well
Her voice is wonderful,we know she is not Celine but when u listen to her songs,u know who she is and it makes u feel so good. That's what artists are here for.I love and respect her so much
What?!? It doesn't seem so. Mel C had a successful Solo career, the most successful. She sold more than 20 million records on her own, her first album sold 4 million copies and she has multiple big selling singles, never heard of Never Be the Same Again, I Turn to You, When You're Gone, Northern Star, First Day of My Life? Geri is the 2nd most successful Solo Spice, she had hits as well such as Mi Chico Latino or It's Raining Men, Emma had quite success as well. What Took You So Long? Free Me? Only Victoria and Mel B didn't have successful Solo music careers apart from a couple of hits on the UK Chart. Maybe you're American, in that case none of them had success in USA musically speaking.
I completely agreed...Mel C is the most successful spice solo artist. She still sing & perform concert until now. The other 4 are not very successful as a solo artist, especially Victoria & Mel B seems like already "give up" as a singer
I love Spice Girls and Emma is my bias, but out of all member's solo tracks, Victoria's singles are my favorite. And I do love her voice too. This lady can sing, y'all
I cant believe this went off the radar. 2021 first time im hearing it an i instantly love it based on the beat and her voice. Not because she's my favorite SPice Girl, though she has always been my fave.
Oh my goodness! The memories!!! I was 15 years old when she released this album and I queued outside of the HMV on Oxford Street in London to get a copy! It was bleeding freezing!!!!
I listened to this song when I was 5 years old and my mom loved it a lot. I previously forgot what the title is but this song is very relaxing. Now I'm glad that I finally found it. It was unbelievable that Victoria sang this because in my generation she's known more as businesswoman.
Great hook! She is extremely funny too. These reminds me on the heyday of Spice Girls. Victoria is as unique as the 4 other girls... she balance the whole thing and her voice exudes charisma when doing semi-rap too. You can hear the diction clearly, word-by-word. Plus, this is an absolute brilliant song! Gosh I want to see them work as a team, reunited and singing altogether again.
I wish Victoria had had more solo parts in the Spice Girls. She's got a really nice voice but was overshadowed by how good Mel C, Mel B and Emma were. Contrary to popular belief she really does have talent and she's so funny; I wish people would stop hating on her because she doesn't smile all the time. It's not a crime to not smile every second of every day and I probably wouldn't smile either if people were pushing a camera in my face 24/7, always wanting to butt into my life, telling lies about my family and talking shit about me.
A really good singer and beautiful woman she always thought David was the bigger star but with all the respect to David she is the true star. Lets dream of a new Spice Girls album with a solo song for each girl...how awesome that would be? !!!! #AMindOfItsOwn #NaturalStandOut
This song’s beauty and authenticity is so relatable that it reduces me to tears. It’s a song you can listen to when you’re absolutely elated or when your enormously depressed.
90% of Spice Girls fan comments on RU-vid: “OMG Melanie C was my favorite Spice Girl! She’s so underrated. She’s a fantastic singer and person in general. She has the most successful solo career out of all of them. She’s so much better than any of the other Spice Girls and she doesn’t even need them. Victoria can’t even sing! They even turned her mic off at live shows, LOL!” Me, a Spice Girls fan whose favorite one is Victoria: “You better take that back right now!”😡🤬👿
I had the album this was from. Better than a lot of people gave it credit for, this was a very strong single. Shame really that her solo career was so short as I felt her stuff was often easier on the ear then Mel B or Geri's were!
This song came out in 2002, which is i was young at that time, but now... I'm a father of 2 kids, and i still enjoying this song,, time flies so fast...
