Thanks, Klovar! I hate when creators can't stand up for themselves so they direct their entire community towards a single individual. I guess maybe that's a little hypocritical of me considering I did that with Filmora, but that was a corporate entity with a lot of power and a user base that had paid them milions of dollars in lifetime licenses. Even then, I tried to handle that with the utmost respect for both sides.

I'm trying to remember how I got to your youtube channel. And I think it went something like this: First I saw a clip of family guy parodying the funky sesame street pinball countdown. Then I watched the original video of the funky countdown. Then I get a video of a guy who looks like a Korn band member talking about an editing program I've never heard of before. And 4 or 5 videos later I find myself subscribed to your channel. I want to say that you are amazing in the way that you handled your problem with Filmora, many would have taken the patronage and ignored the elephant in the room and others would have directly changed the editing program, but you approached the problem in a really objective and professional way. Yo, we got an awesome video and song as a result, frickin win man. Do what you do, we love it. And I have to thank a certain software company for their actions that led your channel to appear in my feed. For ONCE the algo worked as it should. Grudging +1 for YT. The fact that someone hangs out in comments and you respond also says a LOT about the way you’re building community. Even if it’s not you directly, ANYONE from your channel responding is truly great. I hope to be able to do as well as you someday.

You are a a rockstar sir! The way you handled the response was not only genius and entertaining but still respectful. You did not bash, belittle or disrespect that individual. What you did was take what was made to be a negative and put the brakes on it and reverse the energy. I'm glad the algorithm worked. I bought Filmora 9 a few years ago and I was a bit upset about their new payment plan. I was unable to find any information on why they decided to do what they did, until you did your video on the subject. And I'm so happy I don't have to pay to upgrade to 12 👍🏾
