I made the big mistake of buying 2 48/5000 mp2 units a few months ago not thinking about ul listing issues. Also have victron charge controllers. Planning an off grid setup. Really want to use victron but may have to sell this stuff😔. Maybe the inspector won't check?
I assume on that capacitor at 3:58 you are probably correct on that UL listed, but if the comm port difference came later - it could just be easier to manufacture with all on one side, and never re-tooled or had boards from a large quantity run. The capacitor on UL looks shorter in video - are they the same values?
That’s a good catch about the capacitor, I have two units I want to install, one came UL and one non UL, wondering if I’ll have any software compatibility issues once I go into Victron config for split-face setup, or if they will work different in any way.
Hello, Can this inverter be used to feed power back to the grid (aka net metering)? I know the U. S. grid is 240 volt, but I already have a Victron 120-volt to/from 240-volt transformer. Thanks
I also would like to know. I have read the documentation on this inverter and they have something called "a/c feed in" that reads like it will back feed the grid, but I haven't been able to find anything that says for sure.
