One thing that people need to realise if you do not know how to use a terminal correctly personally I’m going to say you don’t have the required experience or knowledge to do this this is a European product designed with European style connectors as well
Is the deal still going if the 12 Sok server rack batteries were you get a free cabinet? If so, how do I find it on the C.C. site? OR a link for the whole deal to be appreciated.
I still have a few questions to ask! the connection you made is the minimum with a 12 volt battery but can we put the voltage of my 48 volt LIFEPO pack directly? or do you need a 12 volt necessarily? otherwise can we also to do tests connect all the material that we wish to use, like the cerbo GX, mptt regulator (I have 5 in 150/35) the AC current of my home in 230 volts? and then configure everything before fixing it to the wall permanently? thank you ps: what worries me the most before your video is the batteries! I thought that a can was mandatory for the multiplus to work, but as long as we give it the right information (lifepo) it will follow that? laurent france
Hello and great video! Finally the multiplus2 can recognize any battery pack even without CAN? I have a larger pack than you in 16S / 2 p 30KW I have my own BMS inside I can just make the multiplus believe that I have a lead battery pack in 48 volts? my BMs will take care of the charge and discharge without the multiplus needing to know the inside of the bms? ok? my BMS is a JK but no can laurent
The separation on the last product looked very small between the independent power rails. Would have to see it in person, but looked two close and no plastic between rails to ensure no cross contacts.
What is the idle power draw on this unit compared to the eg4, and the new growatt 10k that just dropped? Leaning towards Midnite personally. But eg4 was 2nd on my list, and the new Growatt dropped and looks promising.
Hi, i have it today, i connected dongle to Multiplus 2 5000VA and i have only it options what you have. I can't change AC Voltage, AC freqency and i can't set options to charge my lifepo4 AC input (generator) please help :(
Do you know if you can set export limit and when you force discharge of batteries, will it also export to grid, adhering to the limit provided I have a grid interconnection agreement?
I'm still wildly confused. If I need to be connected to the internet at all time then the cerbo GX is completely useless for any mobile setup. I'm not a fart smelling yuppie that only goes to 5 star RV parks with great internet. I rough it in the northwoods and would still like to monitor my system. I'm really starting to become unamused with Victron's products.
If you’re not using high current on the cable, it is generally fine but there are proper calculation methods you use or graphs or potentially tables that help you decide
I had this problem, I went ba v k through all the paperwork that came with the battery, couldn't find any information, tried returning the battery, I was outside of the return dates so I immediately blamed the battery, left a nasty comment on the site I bought it from & accepted the fact I had been ripped off. I almost threw the battery away but thought I should check YT & see if anyone else had this problem. Turns out tons of people have. Why won't these manufactures just provide a few lines of text in the handful of paperwork they send with the battery. At first I thought I was the stupid one but I've since changed my mind. It's not my fault I was not informed. So that leaves the manufacture & the seller to blame. They're litterally the stupid people because they either know, or since they're selling the product they should know everything about it.
Will Prowse tested only 20A running the multi II 3000va in parallel. Do you know the maximum amps this will produce, if 2 inverters are ran in parallel?
Very easy to follow. Havent ever used that brand before. I do know i keep watching all these different installs of these invertors and still nobody says if the grid is required or optional. The 6000xp is supposed to be off grid but all I ever hear about is connecting the AC input. There was one person who said something about using a power station that has a 240 input as your ac input and charging it with solar. I just want something that works without the grid and can recharge from solar. Might tie in a power station to be able to have a way to charge during extended cloudy days and the like.
Any ideas on how to do this easily "in the field" for batteries wired in 24v? Dual alternator wont start charging without sensing voltage. Batteries go to sleep after discharging completely in the night... MPPT can work, but looking of a go to solution to "wake them up" so the alternator can take over...
Thanks for your shut set up video Do you need I have 2 of these shunt monitors As I have 2 x 12v lithium lifepo4 batteries in series for my 24v invertor?
