the visual ones detect basically anything, vapor, cigarette smoke and fire, thermal are the best or the ones that detect heat as they only catch fires and heavy and i mean HEAVY smoke

They trigger both photoelectric and ionization ones if you vape towards it. Photoelectric smoke alarms are more resistant to false alarms than ionization and many newer photoelectric smoke alarms can detect fast burning fires effectively.
Because there is a limited air supply, it still may annoy others, block emergency exits, isn't profitable for airlines and the batteries in these vape cigarettes can explode, potentially with a higher chance compared to 18650's used in other devices.

"dangerous"? wtf are you on about? almost every passenger has a mobile phone, and many bring laptops. the batteries in those devices are far larger than any vape. even if a pen somehow gets stuck "on", the coil burns out very quickly. it doesn't catch fire, shoot sparks, or explode. just dies without even a whimper. passengers have been allowed to carry cigarette lighters and matches for ages, which are arguably far more "dangerous".
Because that's not how air works. The air will all just circulate through the whole cabin. If you can't go a whole flight without a cigarette, get your nicotine some way else

fairly risky these days. most planes have newer style smoke detectors, which are far more sensitive. just crouch down a bit, hold your breath longer than usual, and slowly exhale towards the ground. works a treat. i do this constantly, never had a problem.
Fun fact: It is illegal to smoke or vape on an aircraft because it can interfere with the fire detection system and the smoke will be recirculated in the cabin until the plane lands.

i smoked a cigarette on a plane from thailand to denmark.. the first cigarette no problem other then i could see flight attendant go to bathroom and call pilot also.. now come stupid part.. after 3-4 hours i did it again i smoked cigarrette go back my seat.. and the flight attendant saw me go out the toillet.. the pilot came and took me back in the plane and asked me if it was me.. i jsut keep say no.. but he treathen me landing the plane in iran and put me of there hehe. i never do that again
@@marly860blast6 they're not illegal on planes. In fact, you're required to bring any vape pen/mod in your carry-on bag/person. You can't check them with normal luggage bc of the risk of them exploding. I travel internationally all the time

As though it hurt anyone. I think it's bullshit that he got banned from flying... you gotta do what you gotta do. I sneak mine in the work bathroom all the time and it's no one's business but mine. I do understand it being a much bigger deal on a flight though. People who don't vape or smoke need to stop being so mean and judgemental. This is a plane dummy, not a bathroom at your work place 😂 You smoke, it might set of the alarms which will prompt the crew to extinguish it. It's a waste of resources and not to mention in some planes, they extinguish fires by disabling the module thats causing it. They will declare an emergency and put the plane in the ground. The fool who caused so much inconvenience for so much people by smoking deserves to be banned from flight. Oh yea imagine smoking in a crammed up place where the air circulates, no fresh air comes in everyone breathes the same air you're breathing on a plane
TBH I have a phobia of alarms going off so if someone sets off an alarm it's going to trigger me people just want everyone to be comfortable on a flight also some people with asthma can't handle the smell of smoke or with other lung problems it's just to keep everyone safe.
A typical workplace isn't a tube zooming through the sky at some ungodly speed with dreadful air circulation. Ask any flight attendant from when smoking was legal on planes and see how much they liked it. Smoking on a plane is so deeply inconsiderate to the other people who have to breathe it in for the next several hours

You're supposed to bring vapes in your carry on, its illegal to put a vape in you checked bag since they only pressurize the cabin passengers are in. 18650 batteries can explode if the are in a checked bag under the plane.
