All of Harry's videos are 1000 percent his input. He has so much energy, style and creativity. His voice is amazing and so patient at learning every step of every choreography. He's just the most fun silly kind hearted human on the planet. It helps he makes amazing music 😅

He is not running from something. He is running to catch up with someone. Someone who is GOLDEN. Cause he doesn't want to be alone. And his love is like antidole for him.

Golden is one of those songs you just never tire of listening too.

The video was shot during the pandemic. Basically, he put out his second album, Fine Line, in December 2019. It did moderately well at first, the lead single (Adore You) did well on the charts and was mostly a grower and stuff. But when the pandemic hit, he kinda took off. His team had noticed that there was good reception to his song Watermelon Sugar so they'd shot a music video for it before lockdown (they tend to hoard music videos for a while), that same week they also shot the music video for Falling and for Treat People With Kindness. Falling would become a single for the UK only in February 2020. Then they released Watermelon Sugar in May, to try to push it for the summer season, and it became this massive hit (it's one of the top 20 most streamed songs on Spotify and won a Grammy). It was kind of this huge success that kind of came out of nowhere. Not because he doesn't deserve it or doesn't have the talent, but because he wasn't really trying? And he'd kinda made peace with being a middle of the road artist (decent fanbase, decent tour size, decent album sales, mid sized hits). But he exploded. He's been very famous since he was 16, but he became so much bigger during the pandemic that when things went back to normal he had a really hard time adapting. He recently said that after 1D he never thought he'd be surprised by the reception and adoration of fans again, but when he released his third album he performed it fully in an arena in New York and after finishing As It Was he went to the green room and began to like, not panic, but have that weird feeling of being overwhelmed? And he had to go out and perform it again. Anyway, Golden was shot during the pandemic. It was September 2020. That's why the video is so bare. There wasn't really a lot they could do. It was shot in the Amalfi Coast (Harry loves Italy and has a house there). And it was just sort of like "well, I mean, I guess people want more from me?" The single didn't become massive, but it did become a hit (almost 800M streams on Spotify) despite being the FOURTH single from the album and coming out almost an entire year after the album. The music video was just supposed to be that, him having lots of fun. If you want to see another fun video, I suggest you watch Treat People With Kindness. It wasn't a single, it's actually the least streamed song on the album. He just wanted to do a music video so he did it. It's entirely in black and white and he does full choreography. It stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag).

Also, the MV was shot in September 2020, which could have lead to its slightly sparse storyline - Italy was still fairly cautious with contact at that point.

Loving all the Harry reactions! This is one of my favourite music videos ever! Would recommend watching the BTS of this as well. To me the song is about comparing one's loved one to the sun... "You wait for me in the sky... Brown my skin just right... You're so golden".... And the video seems like he's running to catch the sun, stay in the sunlight as long as possible, trying to outrun the sunset. It's just beautiful ❤️

Can you do the Louis Tomlinson Directors cut? It's a mini film put together of 3 songs (We Made It, Don't Let It Break Your Heart and Kill My Mind) which has a storyline throughout that the songs pop up in. Louis (Lou-ee) is another one of the 5 One Direction members, these songs are from his first album Walls. He has released his second album Faith In The Future end of last year which is much more rocky, like the last song Kill My Mind. Other videos of his from his newer work are great as well, I'd recommend Silver Tongues for the storytelling as well, or Bigger Than Me for the scenery, or from his first album the video for the title song Walls

I love these reactions and I know since your a video editor your reacting to music videos but honestly for me... being not so much a pop fan at all but a Harry fan, my favorite songs of his don't have videos. This is from the album Fine Line and the song Fine Line is probably my favorite. Also She which for me I feel has a lot of Beatles influence is also great. Harry doesn't just do pop songs. React to Kiwi... I'm not sure all his videos are super cinematic but for you that one you can hear a different side of Harry. Also I'm 52 years old and I love him 😂

I think from a video editor's POV you should probably do Late Night Talking or As It Was next. Both are from Harry's House, his latest album. From Fine Line, the second album, you still haven't done Watermelon Sugar & Treat People With Kindness. I think you'd enjoy both, although they are very different types of music videos. That's the thing about Harry, he never does boring videos 😄 From his first solo album he had only two videos: Kiwi & Sign Of The times, you definitely should check them out too.. even though I think his previous ones are better. Oh and I forgot his very first single & mv from Fine Line: Lights Up! Now that one is super artistic, and a bit chaotic.. but it is my personal favourite, the whole video is a mood & reflects the message of the song PERFECTLY.

A music video that comes to mind when it comes to singing differently is The Scientist by Coldplay. Don't know if you've maybe already seen it since it came out in 2002 lol but Chris Martin had to sing the song backwards because the music video is in reverse. It's really cool.

Harry was filming this near (or in, can’t remember) Amalfi in the middle of quarantine… must really have been fun, shoot + holiday. I might be biased as an Italian but you don’t really need to do much when you’re filming in a location like that. Also shout out to the random Poste Italiane delivery man included in the video (guy on the scooter wearing the neon yellow helmet).

There's a lot about Harry you must look into, specifically his lyrics for each video, they all mean something, he's telling his story. You have to find that out for yourself. His fans know everything. He is so talented, not only his music, but fans are so into his videos, we look for things in them, it has made us much more interested in finding out how videos are made,edited ect., thats why he's so famous, he puts 100% into everything he does, and magically every album is so different, just look up 'Larry's, self explanatory. ❤
