Heyo! Hope you read this! There's 3 more details you can find in "Guns,Gore,& Cannoli 2" : -You can find Rusty's pawn shop from the first game, with a note on the window saying Rusty escaped... -In the first game,Vinny stuffed a scientist into a tank/tube/vat. When you reach the submarine boss, you can find that same scientist in a cutscene & as a platform. -When killing zombie rats in the mountains,Vinny will say "Hey,weren't you in the previous game?" which they definetly were.
The power hammer looks more like a Warhammer40k power hammer considering the size and tubing, looks like a Thunder hammer, thors hammer is far smaller and one handed and although the old timer does use that giant hammer with one hand I think it’s supposed to be two
In the phasmophobia lobby, there's a uv flashlight on the floor behind the counter that reveals writing all over the walls, including telling you not to look in the door, the spot you need to stand in order for the sheets to rush you, and the "reason" they rush you as well
So, some controversy surrounding the hammer in Just Die Already. Some people think it’s a reference to Halos Gravity Hammer and others think it’s a reference to Warhammer, what do you think? Oh, and as for other names on the tombs, that’s my bad, I’ll get to those next episode!
Those grounded Easter eggs have been in the game for a while. Also I love snake eater. Definitely one of the best mgs games. Not a big fan of the new bs ones
Hey Cap, how would I go about sending you a video that I took for a video game details? I messaged you on Instagram and Twitter and I have a master class weapon video. Love the Easter eggs! 🥚
You should check the others tombs in "Just Die Already" S. Connor might be a reference to sarah Connor from Terminator and T. Anderson might be a reference to Thomas Anderson (Neo) in The Matrix
So in Phasmophobia when you see your breath that usually means there's a ghost nearby, and the breath coming from the Hooded figures is exactly what freezing breath looks like.
3:13 I was getting excited because I was thinking jetforce Gemini was the reference. Due to the ant heads and green blood surrounding it. And if I remember correctly when you killed the ant species in the game only the head remains.
There's an Easter Egg in South Park: The Stick of Truth. Stan has the same victory animation as Cloud Strife. Also another detail from Batman Arkham Asylum. If you throw a Batarang through a window, instead of breaking completely, only the place that was hit by the Batarang will break.
In Saints Row 2022 there are 2 takedowns that is a reference to John Wick, one is where player jump tackles an enemy then shooting him/her in the head at point blank (JW 2 Museum) and another is where player hits the neck of the enemy with the gun but reloads before shooting (JW1 Club)
It's referring to the cursed possessions. There are six of them and you can set up a match with all 6 in the same game, creating a sort of super possession.
5:07 The other names on that wall seem like references to characters from other franchises too, M. Smith and T. Andersson could be references to the Matrix and S. Connor to Terminator
I don't know if its featured before previously but in overwatch 2 on the eichenhald map, whe spawning as defenders at the last checkpoint inside the castle you can go up some stairs and find a dark sound reference, you know the sword in the campfire?
When you started climbing the ladder in Rage 2 I literally sang ‘What a thrill’ a second before the character said it. Also, this is my opinion wholly but all the ant heads on sticks reminds me of all the clone helmets on sticks at the end of The Clone Wars Season 7. Does one of the ants have a gear looking bit on their head per chance?
There’s what I could say you can call a dark souls reference in the coal bucket by the grill. The coaltana is in a smoldering piece of charcoal (Grounded)
3:14 seems to be more of a homage to Star Wars: The Clone Wars where Ahsoka put up a grave for the clone's that died after order 66 on the ship. At least that's the first thing that popped into my head when I saw it.
Pretty sure all the names in the tomb in Just Die Already are Easter eggs. Just in the video I saw S. Connor (Sarah Connor, Terminator) snd T. Anderson (Thomas Anderson, the Matrix)
Wait, you got the Walter white Easter egg but didn’t even check if the grave for Sarah Connor to the left had a casket full of guns? I also doubt the ant heads are a reference to the Forest, I don’t remember a large set of them in one place like that in The Forest. Not all Easter eggs reference something only a few years old after all
The cave with all the ant heads in Grounded could be a reference to the Nintendo 64 game Jet Force Gemini. That's what came to my mind first cause you collect the enemy heads, and they look just like ants. Probably not, but that was what first poped into my head.
I think the body in Rage 2 is a Dying Light reference because of the mattresses combined with the fact that they’re at the bottom of a radio tower makes me think of the fall damage mattresses
Captain Eggcellent, I don't know if you've covered this easter egg yet, but in the original 'Assassins Creed' one window is shaped like Optimus Prime's truck mode from the Transformers Generation 1 cartoon series.
In L4D there is a detail (or made up) is that when survivors near a Witch in Hard Rain mission their voice sound softer than the normal call-outs they made when reloading. Another one is that when your survivors, they will moan when they are near the downed survivor.
With the magic circle in Phasmaphobia the runes actually say something in english, though I didnt really get a good look at it, made out the word "become" though
I haven't seen absolutely every Easter eggs video, and I know that Back to the Future is probably a very common easter egg, but in Forza Horizon 4, if you make the train push your car it maxes out at 88mph
In Mafia 2 there are the playboy magazines that are collectable, in the 2nd or 3rd chapter, you are sent to meet Derrick for a job. In the cut scene that plays when you get in his office, his bodyguard is also reading a playboy magazine.
For some reason when I saw the hammer with the design it reminded me more of Jayce's Hammer from the Arcane Series being it also has a charge up for impact strikes
In Ghostbusters The Video Game, in the firehouse next to the stairs you can find a desk belonging to Louis Tully, with a note saying he feels sick and won't be in. In Ghostbusters 2 Louis Tully had been hires as a Ghostbuster, but he didn't fit it the game so they instead just had his character be absent
The second easter egg in Just Die Already has another Easter egg right best to the one mentioned. The grave of S. Connor is a reference to Sarah Connor from the Terminator franchise.
The ant parts are actually a part of the story, One scientist separated from the others became a little looney and started making examples of his opponents to better his sense of control over the situation. If you look around the room opposite the ant parts you will find a log and maybe some cave writing on the matter.
There is a ghost type in phasmophobia, called the hantu. It has a special visual during hunts. In its ghost room during a hunt, you can see the hantu's breath. It is the only ghost in the game (apart from mimic, who can mimic the hantu) who has freezing breath itself.
I can’t tell if it’s Sad or something else but I’ve gone to the point where demons and cults don’t scare me anymore and most of this stems from me playing a game called please don’t touch anything in VR
Did you know in halo 3 ODST during the mission NMPD HQ the sniper is fired only twice during the cut scene. Then when the mission starts there is 3 rounds missing from the gun.
Hello, in the coffin easter eggs I think you skipped some important coffins names like T. Anderson(Thomas Anderson aka Neo from The Matrix) and S. Connor (Sarah Connor from Terminator)
Hey, I think I have an Easter Egg from A Hat In Time. In the level, Murder on The Owl Express, one of the TVs reference Metal Gear Solid. Sorry if you've already covered it. Thanks for reading and have a good day.
In the phasmophobia lobby, if you use one of the flashlights and look into the window on the door, there will be a ghost standing in a hidden room that is impossible to see otherwise
To go along with that saints row take down, that palm, palm, low kick is the exact 3 opening moves in MGS's iconic CQC technique used by the snakes (and raiden)
2:56 also Goat Simulator 3 has it, you can lick the sword out of the stone, if you headbutt the guy dressed as Son Goku away, who is trying to get the sword too. Also the sword there is called Doomslayer. So it's easter egg to 3 different things
I do think this is a bit of a stretch, but the cloaked presumably ghost figures saying "Where are you? Help me" really reminds me of the Psychonauts Easter egg about the buring orphanage.
6:48 ok we know it's from assassin's Creed but who? From the look of dead body and how his clothes look like I'm 100% sure it's Desmond (Main Character who play as assassins from different time)
3:45 All I thought of when I saw that was Jet Force Gemini because I'm pretty sure you collect heads of your enemies in that game and they're pretty much ants.
5:19 I only remember RAGE 2 these days because of their unique Dreamcast, which is a PC that is stuffed inside a customized Sports Edition shell with the game's logo on it, and thinking that it would be cool if the person who won it, took that shell and use it that shell for an actual Dreamcast. They would be having a special Dreamcast variant that is officially created by Bethesda in 2019, which would be wild to think about.
The hammer in Just Die Already, given the size, the sound effect, and what it does when swung seems more like a reference to Halo's Gravity Hammer to me.
Not related to this video, but one of my favorite Easter Eggs of all time is the fact that, in Psychonauts 2, the voice of Raz's Archetype is voiced by Rikki Simmons, who is the voice of GIR from Invader Zim. This counts as an Easter Egg, 'cause Raz is voiced by Richard Horvitz, who voices Zim in Invader Zim. I think there are a handful of invader Zim easter eggs in Pyschonauts 2, actually.
The ant heads just made me think of Formica archboldi. It's a species of ant that attacks trap jaw ants and decorates their nest with the heads of their victims.
In call of duty modern warfare 2019, on the sniper mission, you can get some cool dialog depending on your actions. For example if you shoot the stray dogs, and when you shoot the watermelon on the table, someone will comment on your fruit killing skills
In Kingdom Rush Vengance in Level 4 (Kazan-Mine), you can find Donkey Kong riding a minecart. Also in Level 2 (Gates) if you click on the blinking keyhole, Bilbo will come and enter the mountain. And in Bolgurs Throne you can find Dagobert Duck, swimming in coins sorry for my bad englisch skills and i hope you can read it :)
all those decapitated ant head made me think of the massive clone burial near the finale of Star Wars: the Clone Wars. Probably not it but that's what came to mind when I saw it
Detail: in hitman 3 on the isle of sgail map, while doing the mission story social climbing, if you pacify marek Sinclair while his phone is ringing, it will carry on ringing through the mission.
I think I know another cool detail. In Super Mario Party on the Switch. If you play as Bowser and you meet that Wizard Koopa,he'll say "Lor-Lord Bowser!!!!!" Meaning that he's afraid of Bowser
In Phasmophobia there is also another easter egg behind the door. If you look to the right side of the room then you can see a figure (The grudge ghost that also appears in the old lobby)
in Inscryption, during the boss fight with Leshy in the first act of the game, on round 3 he will take a picture of the moon to use as his card. as a hidden detail, when its orbit power takes your squirrel cards, you can actually see them orbit the moon on the card. also if you use a card with the stink power on it, it will unlock some hidden dialog from Leshy. absolutly love your videos cant wait for more
I think the ant heads in grounded is possibly from the mysterious 5th kid as when you start in the game there is 5 kid slots in the case but you can only play as 4.
Grounded easter egg with the heads on sticks reminded me of Star Wars the Clone Wars S1 E15 Trespass. Though being Disney they cant visually put clone heads on spikes, so there are only helmets and droid heads.
