Snow bike Mike the type of dude to join a FFL, talk shit all year, then show up to draft with a top 200 players list from 2010. No, Mike, you can’t draft Tony romo.
I'm sorry but Greg has this in the bag. How did you let Rebirth slide to him and then Infinite Wealth in the final round? His other picks are great too!
This is why it should be a case by case basis. Some things called "Remake" are "Remastered", some "Remasters" are actually ports or "Director's Cut", etc
It's wild how late Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth got picked. At first I assumed that maybe somehow everyone had a code for it and couldn't pick it but people were just leaving free points on the table
I enjoyed the episode but it is tough because there are so many games we don’t even know about releasing later in the year, hopefully they do end up with and update show maybe half way through the year as Tim mentioned there could be
Maybe with enough asking they'll do an update but at the same time, dont hold your breath as theyve never done an update. Best way to stay informed is to visit their league on the website
Bless consistently has some of the worst gaming takes going lmao - doesn't think Dragons Dogma will be any good, doubts Elden Ring DLC comes out *this year*, 100% thinks Hellblade gets over 90 metacritic etc. etc.
Did I say at any point that other people weren’t allowed to have their opinions? I just was personally surprised that they had the takeaways they had from the trailer. Sorry I don’t feel the same ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@BarrettCourtney maybe it came off that way to me, maybe you didn't realize that's how it sounded, or maybe I interpreted it wrong. It's just how it felt in the moment watching.
@@jeremyvisser3877Typically on other shows where they do this draft, they do a quick overview of the previous year scores and final standings. It's a bit strange to do this but not show the results
Greg's win felt cheap last year, glad the rules are being patched up. We have a good group that should be engaged throughout the year, so should be a good one! --Mike deserved Baldur's Gate last year
@@thomasalley3121 the first game wasn't about the environments and story. It was all about the gun play and awesome load outs you could do. Also playing with friends was a huge part. If helldivers2 can nail that in 3rd person I'm sure it'll reach mid 80's. Heck i could see it being 90s
As much as we are doubting Mike and Tim, if their games come out with scores they almost instantly win major points. Nintendo is almost unfairly snagging points due to beloved characters and fun worlds with Mario alone. But also Tim has the biggest risk with unannounced games all over the place. I think Mike might give ppl an upset if all games have scores, since he has only cult beloved games that devs all hit over 80 and 90 before. Bless has games that could all have technical achievement awards. The other thing is Greg has the best "for sure" list. So if the others drop the ball, Greg wins again.
The Kinda Funny Crew was struggling for choices when No Rest for the Wicked by the Ori Studio was right there. I gotta assume they were just forgetting
@@TheAndyCortez Sup Andy! I think it’s pretty likely at least, it gets a big preview in March and at least Early Access sometime this year. But you’re right, not certain for 2024
I'd like if we got updates on the draft throughout the year. Like once a month on gamescast, pull up the draft and review it. These are fun for you all bc your actively playing it. If we don't hear about this til Jan '25, then I'm not invested.
This is so messed up. As CEO, Greg should be allowed to participate in some collusion once in a while. And Barrett should be allowed to participate in junior collusions.
Dragon Quest III HD-2D could be a sleeper hit if it releases this year. Seems like it should as it's probably not technically demanding and the teaser trailer came out in 2021.
Mike picking Elden Ring DLC was gold but can we talk about the buildup? Like he monologued for like 20 secondsd about how this is the DLC everyone wants, like he built up enough suspense that I was thinking "wait...is there a DLC other than Elden Ring that everyone is looking forward to this year?" And then he said Elden Ring...and my god, ive never seen anticipation and suspense be met so perfectly with a payoff. Brilliant. Alfred Hitchcock, Steven Spielberg, John Carpenter...they've got nothing on Snow Bike Mike.
Kinda Funny Team, go watch the Easy Allies Fantasy Critic Draft. They have the creator Steve on and he gives some good pointers as well as some cool features to add some fun variables to the game. Recommended.
should i make persona 3 my first persona experience? hearing barret talk about it for a couple years now has always led me to wanting to play persona but i didn’t know where to start. lmk if 3 is a good start or not. hope y’all stay healthy and safe ❤
I'm surprised no one counter picked the mario game, not a chance that's coming out even with switch 2. I swore that's where bless was going with his metroid 4 pick. If switch 2 is this year Mario is next spring/fall easily.
I’ve never done video game fantasy but I do play fantasy sports and it seems the obvious 1st overall would be Final Fantasy..then you can save picks that likely the others wouldn’t think of.
Nah, Bless would have taken it in the first or second round. Also, just because you either haven’t heard of it or it doesn’t interest you doesn’t mean it has low value. I think I made a fair argument. That team makes high 80s to mid 90s games.
I think Dragon's Dogma 2 will do a lot better than they think. Bigger budget, Devil May Cry team, with Monster Hunter team support (I believe). And I think first official open world game on the RE engine. The original is a cult classic. 80 is probably the minimum.
Great rule changes, but I think DLC and trades shouldn't be allowed. Nor should remakes. Remakes and DLC are too easy to predict they're gonna be strong, generally. And then trades are too easy to setup to fuck someone over at the end of the year.
I like Avatar. Really enjoyed both films. However I do not care for another Ubisoft game that follows the Far Cry formula. Which is why I had no interest in Frontiers of Pandora. Similarly I’m getting a bit tired of large open worlds. So not holding too much interest in Outlaws. But happy to dive in if it is really good!
