@@krashd Yes but firstly they didn't kill anyone if they had then yeah I wouldn't feel bad at all. Second they were 12 I feel like making a hella dumb decision shouldn't mean it's alright for you to die. At that age you aren't mentally capable enough to do a lot of things. I bet they you did something really stupid at that age and only after did you understand why it was idiotic.
@@wholesomeprofilepicture585 Yeah, but most of the young-&-dumb stuff I can remember doing only harmed me or broke my stuff (lots of experiments before I had the proper science training). I thought cars were cool AF when I was a kid (and still do), but I never even thought about stealing and driving one.
Maybe your first 12 years were different than these kids. I’m not excusing them, but it’s unlikely they spent their free time at church picnics and riding ponies and playing catch with strong roll models to get to the point that they did this. That’s what you should feel sorry for him. No one taught him better and now he’s dead
So true, sadly its harder now a days to even discipline your kids. They could go on and tell someone that their parents "Beat" them and in the end the parents get arrested for child abuse
He thinks it’s society’s fault for not “finding something for the kids to do”? At that age, I found plenty to do and it never involved stealing cars and killing people.
@@sylviathompson100Exactly, I came from a small family and my parents did a poor job, raising me. I only committed white collar crimes because it was more profitable and demanded less effort than Grand Theft Auto. I never got in trouble, because my lawyer was kinda like a real life Saul Goodman. 😹
@@SuzetteRobertson, It the democrats who are soft on crime in every major city in America that is run by democrats with there left leaning ideologies. The youth see that their older siblings who commit crimes like this endangering the public just get a slap on the wrist. They are released back into the public to Rinse lather and repeat without any consequences. Not to many people want to address the elephant in the room of certain behavior unfortunately. When was the last time you saw a video of a other race of "teens" taking over a mall or a mass theft of a store with the smash and grab? It's really sad. I wish that they had more positive roll models as that rap culture that they listen to has not to many positive lyrics to offer the youths sadly. Please don't think that this is a negative comment about any race who are committing most of the crimes. Bad people are from all races. I just wish that there is more positive people who the youths could look up to. ☮️ Everyone and follow that golden rule.
They need to start having licenses to be able to reproduce:!!!! Poor Druggies are out here birthing children who grow up poor and robbing to eat the poverty cycle. No one should be born into that. Only healthy, thriving well off families should be able to have license to reproduce. The world would be much much safer
I just can't feel bad for the kids I'm sorry at 12:13 they know stealing a car is wrong my next door neighbor gave his 16-year-old a new charger he filmed himself driving down the road at 110 mi an hour laughing the speed limit on that road is 35 because it's a very busy road he did crash in total car out and nothing happened to him and I can't believe it but when the 12 or 13 year old kids steal a car it's going to be bad no matter what just like all these young kids getting guns where are they getting them from are there no parents anywhere and I don't think it's the police fault they didn't know how old the driver was you can't find that out until the left of the car stopped
The parents should go to jail. This is ridiculous. No reason for 12yr old kids to be out at night plus driving. And, I guarantee you these kids never even heard of a spanking. I wouldn't have dared done this as a kid. My mom would've destroyed me.
I just told my coworker this the other day. Cps or bcw stopped corporal punishment in the 90’s and look at the world. Parents only allowed to discipline verbally.

I almost wish somebody would steal my Kia as it's got 413,000 miles on it. But it got totalled a while ago in a deer accident and I kept the car with a lower check amount, so I can only have liability insurance and wouldn't get a dime on theft
Most the time it's a single mum. Alot of those times the mum is working alot to pay for everything, the kids are left alone. I blame the fact that, alot of children now have no dad, no normal family in so many cases now. Our daughter is 17 and we are the only parents that are still together out of her whole friend group! That is ridiculous and people need to stop their crap.
The little angel shouldn't have been out at that time of night anyway, and joy riding !! That kid was probably no better than the kids who ran away from the car.
There is no reason on this earth a 12 year old child is out at 10 p.m. without parents. Even back in the 1970s, my curfew the first couple of years of high school was 10 p.m. and it did not harm me, stunt my development - oddly enough, it made me a responsible person.
@@lfishrd When I started Freshman year of High School, I had found a job as a stocker at a local grocery store. On Fridays and sometimes on Saturday we would work from 10 PM to the next morning stocking the store, Sunday thru Thursday on the days I was scheduled, I worked from after school until 10 PM and my dad picked me up. It was doing this and being home on time after I had bought my first car and not goofing off that my parents allowed me to have a late night curfew (during the summer) of 3 AM unless I was doing the overnights previously mentioned at work. I didn't drink alcohol, smoke or do drugs and my parents rewarded me for it. Now, my brother on the other hand was a complete disaster for them.
Guy saying they need to have something for the kids to do... Ummmm... Who's they?? If theyre your kids, YOU find something for them to do. I hear this all the time! Stop making the raising of your damn kids the responsibility of everyone else, the school, the city, anybody but you! RAISE YOUR KIDS!!!! STOP MAKING EXCUSES! STOP BLAMING!!!
If a member of a criminal group dies during the commission of a violent felony, it used to be that the others would be charged with murder no differently than if their victim was killed. And these young men might have been young, but at 13, you know that you're not supposed to take things that aren't yours, and you're not supposed to hurt people (except in self defense, which this wasn't). They wanted to step and act like adults, they should get adult punishment, not "oh, but they're just kids". Sorry folks, balls dropped and commiting felonies, they're men.

Texas don’t have that announcement we get in NYC on all networks “It’s 10pm, do you know where your children are?” I lived in Houston and asked about it.
They need to pass a new law to hold parents accountable. Year after year, history repeats. Get these parents involved with new law. I'm sure it will not stop but will lessen. To the man saying, "they need to find something for the kids". No, there is plenty of stuff, parents need to learn parenting skills. Stop making excuses for them idiots.
Why, what good would it do to pass another law? You can't teach people something they don't care or desire to learn. The breeders already don't care about accountability. It would be just something else to burden an already overtaxed court system.
why should the parents be held accountable when the teens know what they are doing. Age of accountability thats what religion teaches but your probably not a religious person.
This happens a lot here in Florida...teen car thieves with no supervision out at 2 AM stealing. Many are arrested multiple times for it but are out within days to do it again.
How about instead of expecting the city to find something for the kids to do, maybe the parents could try to teach them what not to do? Accept responsibility.
"Find something for the kids to do..." no, the parents are going to have to learn to parent. Black folks, be a parent. Stop cashing the checks if you aren't going to take responsibility. Oh who am I kidding, black culture in America is all about not taking responsibility. Scott Adams was right, time to separate.
Never in my wildest dreams would have I ended up in a situation like this with my friends. I am so grateful for my family to have raised me well. And they weren't even strict.
When are they gonna start charging the parents for their role in not raising or knowing what their kids are doing. There needs to be more accountability
If those parents are at working providing for their household because 9/10 the father disappeared….the kid should be the only one dealing with the action. Unlike the parents whom told their kid go shoot up a school.
The man whose car was stolen said that with summer coming up, the kids need to find something else to do. Houston is one of the biggest cities in this country. If kids or parents of kids can't find something productive to do there... they simply don't want want to. They want the thug life.
Especially as they have the world on a screen now. Why were they not home at that time of night anyway?? Single mother working all hours to pay for their little mistakes probably.
Yep just like RU-vid needs to be held accountable for allowing hate and misinformation to brew which will definitely lead to death in real life at some point
I like how there’s no accountability on the parents part. Even the victim who had his car stolen, is saying “they” need to find some thing for the kids to do. They should be their parents. Who is they sir?
@@jeanettesmith765 No, it’s not easy to figure out. Maybe for you bc racism is your driving force but for us logical thinkers it is a legit question. Had these children been caught out this late w/o committing crimes parents would be under investigation. So seriously, we’re the parents at home asleep, out at work?
@@citizencoy4393 No it is easy to figure out. Some parents think they got to be the cool parent instead of the responsible parent. Then there are those that just don't give a shit & yes they both come in all shapes sizes & colors.
