New surveillance video shows a Mercedes speed through a red light at a Windsor Hills intersection, causing a fiery crash that killed six people. Full story: abc7.com/windsor-hills-crash-...
What's so sad is that I always notice that the person who causes the accident always survive, while the innocent ones always seems to lose their life. Let's pray for everyone affected by this
Really? You always notice that they always survive? Always? What is the point of your comment. You have no details yet you pass judgment on people involved. That is some seriously flawed thinking
@@chadd1428 Flawed thinking? Literally a INFANT is dead, a PREGNANT woman is dead and 3 other ADULTS dead because the driver was doing 128mph. We know the facts SHE WAS SPEEDING OVER 100MPH. Are you blind? That intersection is KNOWN for people going over the speed limit. FOH
“While you’re praying to God ask him why the young always die while drunks like you get to walk away” -From ‘Midnight Mass’ after a drunk driver causes a fatal accident
Well that woman is now going to answer some questions. The crash looked intentional, like she tried committing suicide while trying to take as many innocent lives with her.
That car was going so fast that even when I slow the video. I can hardly see the impact. So sad for the families involved. My condolences to the lives lost
I can't believe that she was just speeding. Surely she must have had a medical incident or the accelerator jammed. That car must have been travelling at maximum speed. May the deceased RIP. What a horrific way to die. 😭😭
@@marionfriedenthal7352 I wondered the same. This seems beyond twenty over or not paying attention to the light. or we're trying to make sense where there is none to be found.
The driver was reckless and obviously did not intend to kill or hurt anyone. Recklessness should mean revoking the licence for life and some jail time. Now, if she intentionally did that, then she should be locked up for life. We usually don't punish people severely who didn't intend to cause that level of harm
@@alkazar625 huh??? What a completely moronic thing to write… We don’t know what the circumstances of this accident were… if the driver was having a stroke then the punishment will probably be less severe.. Anything other than a stroke or heart attack and it’s JAIL FOR A LOOOONG TIME
@@vvy4egh There are quite a few incidents of that very thing happening. I only know of one driver that was able to walk away from that, for whatever reason the gas peddle unstuck so she parked on the side of the highway and got out of that vehicle. She had just filled up with gas and that nightmare lasted quite awhile at speeds over 100 mph. 911 dispatcher was talking with her and relaying her whereabouts to officers. Earlier that week she had hit a deer but there appeared to be no damage to the vehicle and I don't think the deer had anything to do with the gas peddle sticking because it happens to other vehicles too and quite a lot. Do a search "gas peddle sticks". The thing that really gets to me most is not only does the gas peddle stick but the vehicles pick up speed.
I was riding a bus at night when a car drove past at that speed. So fast it was long gone by the time I had processed it. The only reason nobody got hurt was that it was 2am and the major intersection had a green light. The bus driver said it was the craziest thing he had ever seen on the road. Anyone that endangers people like that deserves prison, it is the ultimate selfishness.
Every morning before leaving the house I pray with my wife for protection against injuries, accidents, fatalities, crime, police brutality, etc., for my household and others around. RIP to the lives lost, praying strength and comfort for their families; and a successful recovery for all who were injured and/or traumatized by this crash. 🙏🏾
I don't understand if there is a God why this happens? And praying gonna help before or after this still happened. And how is praying going to help its too late . God " Today these 6 people are going to die a firery death ".
@@jefftrotter5802 it's the understandment of knowing good and evil free will ....if bad things would of never happen we has humans would never know the true value of love would be about .....if we were perfect we be robots with no choices no free will

If the woman who caused the crash survives her injuries, charge her with the death penalty. 6 lives (7 if you count the unborn child) ain’t no joke, life behind bars seems too little. She made a choice, let her face the repercussions and let justice be served. My thoughts go out to everyone affected. RIP to the lives lost!
How can you even talk without knowing why she crashed? This is what’s wrong with this country. People just assume before knowing any facts. What if the woman driving suffered a heart attack or any type of medical emergency. So dumb just to assume she was fully aware of what happened
Let em die in pain. Why pay to keep ‘em alive in prison? We already pay enough keeping death row inmates alive to die elderly of natural causes. Take the easy win on this one.
The driver did survive. She was apparently somewhat talking to the authorities. She has some explaining to do. That straight looked like I'm committing suicide and I'm taking as many lives with me.
I live in a small town in Alaska but grew up in So Cal. These kinds of things are rare up here but still happen. Especially during winter. Life is much too short. My heart goes out to all the people who perished. 💔
She was way over 100. I had to slow the playback speed down to .25 fps and still barely saw her car ripping across the screen. She must've had a death wish at 130 mph obviously seeing the traffic crossing the street. But not for the United Oil guardrail behind the sign stopping the crashing cars, this could've been much worse from the entire gas station exploding from the force of impact.
@@unknownshorty8699 has nothing to do with TV I rarely watch it. A lady (if the from what I heard) willingly drank over an appropriate limit, willing decided to drive therefore causing the death of multiple people including small children very gruesomely, then she deserves the ultimate punishment possible. Many may agree, but most likely she will get life in prison. While going at a roundabout way of insulting our country, seems like yours has a soft spot for child killers and murders.
@@kenrick5673 1) It hasn’t been proven she was intoxicated 2) My comment wasn’t even for you 3) The ultimate crime possible would be serving life in prison not committing yet another crime such as the death penalty . 4) Canadians are just way too nice I guess
Ask her lawyer. He says she is mentally insane although she was able to workin critical care as an ICU nurse and was totally fine until after the accident.
40 year old speeding driver: Nicole L. Linton, registered nurse from Texas, fighting w boyfriend runs red light and crashes. Killing 6 including a pregnant woman Asherey Ryan Los Angeles woman and her unborn child. In total 7 cars involved with 8 injured including driver that caused the accident.
Symptomatic of a society that becomes more self-centered each day. Fewer and fewer consider the consequences of their own actions. Prayers for the families involved.
Another article said the driver was going 100 mph and that she was a nurse who was drunk and just had a fight with her boyfriend. She should get life in prison.
RIP to the people who didn't make it. If you know someone who drives like this, get the keys to Any vehicle they intend to drive. It seems like every time a tragedy like this happens, the person causing it walks away. So sad for the victims and those who witnessed, and tried to help them.
@@chadd1428 the driver was arrested. She had an argument with her boyfriend and was driving drunk. Her friends and others who were with her right before this happened confirmed that
@@claudiasandoval3475 There was no evidence of intoxication found. But this woman has been previously involved in 13 prior car crashes due to her reckless driving. She is a menace and should be behind bars.
i feel you. for real. that was my reaction to seeing a car slam through 4-5 stationary cars...the issue with the death penalty in general though is that our justice system is far from perfect...you see men and women all the time being found innocent years later from DNA testing mostly, and i think that alone is a reason to take more of a humanitarian stance regarding incarceration...And to be fair, i think it goes without saying that some of the real bad ones...undeniably guilty through multiple confessions/ DNA evidence whatever is...would welcome death as a way out, so...its a complicated issue. this is just what makes the most sense to me.
This scenario will play in the minds of those who witnesses this. It will never go away. The families are all broken to pieces, and if that nurse has family too (don't know yet) she will be charged with Vehicle Manslaughter and another charge. No amount of jail time will satisfy the families of the victims who I pray died instantly in that crash. They never KNEW what hit them. They had no time to react because their light was GREEN, the other drive of the Mercedes, was RED. She was not going 80 mph, she went 100 mph. Straight through. That must have been some cell phone call she picked up! I can see this woman now in the hospital under heavy security in case she tries to make a break for it. If it was drink or medications/drugs, it will show up in her blood tests. If none of the above, there had to be a reason for her to fly through the intersection during peek traffic, and the victims had the right away! So let's see if she was duped up, or angry, was late for work, picked up her cell phone, mad at herself, a slip up at work? It will take time, and this story will be put to the side like so many other's. My deepest condolences to the families who's loved ones died in that burst of flames of fire. The unborn, the baby, the soon to be mommy again, her boyfriend, and two other human beings.

Some years ago in my Sacramento neighborhood a drunk guy ran a stop sign on a suburban street (30 miles an hour limit) at an estimated 80 miles an hour and broadsided this family trying to make a left turn from a shopping center. This nurse had to have been drunk or suicidal. Perhaps it’s best that she did survive so she can live with it now
@@lilliansrakovcic1365 She was drinking with her friends after getting into a fight with her boyfriend? Well they should’ve said that in the story. I mean it is still wrong, but now I understand why it happened and it does make a difference. Relationships are difficult so I can’t really blame this woman now with that knowledge. Shame on the TV station for not pointing that out
@@HappyMomma412 Her friend said that to a reporter. And also that she was in the argument with her boyfriend so she was probably mad and drunk and didn’t care
Why does the one who always causes the crashes are the ones who survive meanwhile the victims lose their lives...I can't even imagine the horror of the people who were trapped in the fire. That's just one of the worst ways to go, I just hope they were unconscious so they wouldn't experience the pain & horror...
Imagine being the Nurse/ Doctor treating that psychopathic woman🤦🏽♀️ Honestly just wow, life can be taken away in an instance... My condolences to those innocent lives🙏🏽
Can we just acknowledge that if those barriers weren’t there and one of those flaming cars hit a pump all of the city would have been blow into pieces bcs there are 4 gas stations in that intersection.
I'm crying watching this. I can't even imagine!! Then when they interviewed the man that was trying to compose himself, my heart couldn't handle the mental image of what he described!! My prayers are being said for everyone affected by this horrific tragedy. 😭💔🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced on Monday that Nicole Linton has been charged with six counts of murder and five counts of gross vehicular manslaughter for the multi-car crash, which left six people dead and Linton facing a 90-year prison sentence if convicted of all the charges.
This does not make sense, that does not look like speeding, that looks like mechanical malfunction, like a stuck throttle. Nobody would try to speed through that intersection with a wall of cars. People speed 100mph in 35mph zones when there is no traffic, not during rush hour.
This made me cry! I wonder if something medically(heart attack, stroke) happened to the woman who caused this accident, surely no one would intentionally run a light and speed like that at this intersection. Prayers for all concerned.💜

No, that would be easy way out. They need to prosecute her and take all her stuff, including any money from insurance and gave it to the victims. She doesn’t need any of that anymore she’s going to jail she killed six people, she was drinking
Let's hope the families of all that lost their loved ones in the crash get together and sue the pants off that woman. Leave her with nothing. Take everything she has. After that throw her in jail for 30 years...
