This is why I have a UPS box. Criminals used to do this in a neighborhood I lived in and they also set those blue mail boxes on fire for kicks. So now I drop and pick everything up at U.P.S.

They don’t care about it. I’ve caught people trying to break into my neighbors truck who had stolen mail on their person and they were arrested and released the next day.

All those stolen identities…. That’s why I moved from San Jose. I lived in an apartment complex. There was alway homeless in the dumpsters when I was taking out the garbage, the mail boxes kept getting pried open. It got to the point where I had a garage full of garbage bags of mail to shred along with recyclables. When I did go to the recycling plant off Lincoln ave and showed them my license to cash out, my name and address was already on file as a frequent customer as I guess someone had assumed my identity. San Jose has sucked every since the police department brought in those consultants back in ~2011 or so that determined since the city was so safe, they could get rid of the burglary and other units.

The back doors on those trucks lock automatically when shut. They would have had to jimmy the door in order to get it open.

The mail person never thought that this would be how their spouse finds out that they are cheating on them while at work.

Didn’t the mailman supposed to lock the truck and treat our mail as personal and valuable? He didn’t do it. That’s why the mail got easily stolen. He is careless. He’s partly responsible.

I signed up for a mailbox in a storefront because USPS regularly gave mail to the wrong address in my neighborhood. This is one more reason to not have mail or packages delivered to your door.

Do these cases ever get resolved?

Usually it's the mailmen getting storage units and shoving undelivered mail into those units, or throwing them alongside a deserted road, or giving your mail to the neighbors on the next block over, but not robbing mailmen.

I'm fairly certain that mail truck has a front and rear camera cause if it don't then what's stopping the actual mailman from stealing the mail?

Prisons are actually over-crowded which means to put these two in two other criminals must be released. Happens every time you comment "throw them in prison".
