Loved the interview! Hope That Luca can somehow put the material that was edited out due to size constraints can be included in a future book. I’m currently reading his latest and it’s terrific. I know Paul mentioned in an interview a few year ago that there is enough songs for a multi album of "soundcheck" songs. Apparently soundchecks have been recorded since the early days of Wings!!
If the start of the Australian song mentioned does lift the opening of Oh Darling, perhaps Paul noticed that and thought it would be a bullet-proof riposte to lift the opening lyric of that same song for Big Barn Bed?
I haven't heard anything. He's kept it pretty quiet, other than saying he's been working with producer Andrew Watt. I'm still wondering about It's A Wonderful Life and High In The Clouds. You know he can't sit still for too long!
McCartney doesn't seem to get much credit for his incredible musical versatility. Bowie does in spades but when McCartney does a similar thing the music press say that he has lost direction.
