I left this on for my cat last night before I went to work. When I came home this morning I found that she had passed away in her caddy while I was gone. It soothes me that she got to hear peaceful sounds as she died. She loved birds. I feel so bad. Thank you to the posters of this video.
im playing this for my cat as he is at his final moments. this is his favorite video, and he would always tap the screen or check behind the phone for real birds! hes adorable and i love him with all my heart. ❤
My boy K.C. passed away this afternoon. I want you to know this was the last video that brought him peace. When he picked his head up and his eyes darting around the screen watching his birdies it made me very emotional. I want to thank you for posting this.
My mother-in-law has dementia and we put this on to keep her relaxed. She tends to think that anything on TV is real and gets worked up over many shows. This is very calming for her. Thank you!
I cannot thank you enough for these videos. My sweet 17 year old tonkinese baby tends to get anxious, confused, and yowls at night. This has been happening since he got one of his back legs amputated two years ago from cancer. So he will hop all around the house and we try to calm him but he just seems so puzzled. Ever since we showed him these videos he has been obsessed and when he is confused at night I can show him one of these and he settles down and is able to go to sleep within 10 minutes. Not to mention our other 4 cats are now obsessed too. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to make these wonderful videos.
I hope all has been well over the last few years, regarding your old one & your young! My 10 year old 'Henry', over these videos, is enjoying & they often calm him when he does the midnight howl to go out (because he can hear all of the critters!)... 💖🐈💖
Awwww, this is so cute ❤❤❤ When I had pets spending the nights at the vet's, I was always so worried for them. Knowing there are people like you, who put the extra effort to make our tiny friends feel better, gives me so much hope and comfort. ❤
My cat Mel passed away August 1st 2021. She had a neurological degenerative illness. She went from healthy to "bedridden" in a few weeks. Her last days were spent watching this video on loop really close to her, as it was her favourite. She was 1 year and 2 months old. She was the sassiest, cheekiest, playful, most loving cat I ever met...she never grew past 7 months, so she was my lap buddy. I will miss her forever. I want to say thank you for uploading this as you made her and the rest of the family very happy. She lived a short but very happy life in part thanks to this video.
I played this for my cat the day before she peacefully passed away and I could sense that she could remember when I played the video for her and she used to watch it attentively trying to get the birds on the screen. It hasn't been a week since she's gone and I miss her. She was a great cat and lived a very long life. I love her so much.
This video is the best way to get my three cats to forget about their turf wars. At age 19 years, 10 years, and 1 they don’t have much else in common. The one year old is still looking behind the tv. The other two are looking at her like she’s an idiot. 😂
my cat is really sick and has been lethargic for a week, but she perked up and started silent meowing with her tail twitching at the birds. made me cry
My cat used to love this.. she'd watch this for hours and hours and only stopped watching to eat or drink. She's gone now, and to be honest I missed having her waltz over outta nowhere just to see whatever im watching, and putting this on for her. Thank you for this, it helped make a lot of good memories..
My cat Luigi has been staring at this for like 15 mins scratching up my screen to catch the birds 😹 it’s like watching a cartoon with ur kid and seeing them light up with happiness
Showed this to one of my cats, she's 10 months old. I played it on my phone next to me while I tried to read in bed. It worked at first since she was too focused on the birds to prevent me from holding my book. But ultimately she kept throwing her arms under my phone and trying to catch the birds and I was distracted. She's so cute and I want to thank you for this awesome video.
Ha Ha, that’s so funny. My cat watched for the first time tonight, I’ve tried once before & she wasn’t interested, but this time she was already looking at my phone because I’d been talking to my friend that she likes on speaker. She watched the birds for about five minutes, ‘til I had to go into the kitchen & she had to follow me just because that’s what cats do!!! She follows me everywhere.
My cat is obsessed with this video. When he is running around the house like he’s nuts, he instantly calms down when he hears the bird’s wings on this video. This is like a Disney movie for him. And to watch him look off screen to find where the birds flew off to is my fav part.
Its -15 where I live, my cat is bored and my dogs are being jerks to her. I put this on cause she looked sad. I wasn't sure if she would be into it but she sat there for hours watching! So awesome!!! Thank you for this video ❤️
So my cat suffers from anxiety and trauma. The best way to distract her is with this video. She suddenly perks up and becomes the badass predator she is. A lot of the time she feels like she's not and to restore her self agency and confidence is truly eye watering. Thank you for making this video. It is a game changer for us.
My cat is old and she tends to meow a lot when she's not entertained enough, so I started playing this video on my Ipad. She's currently next to me on my bed and watches with an unbreakable focus. I think I could drop something heavy on the floor and she wouldn't even flinch
2 cities, 3 apartments, 4 relocations, my cat has been through it all in recent years. Only occasionally did he come to lie on my chest, and even less often I played him a video with birds, even on my mobile phone or tablet. But when it came down to it, it was this video that always made him purr happily for a few minutes before going to sleep. And today he finally got to the end... Both the cat and I thank you for the experience and adventure. We have enjoyed it very much over the years. Lukas and Elvin
This is much needed for people who have never experienced an ounce of peace and quiet in their lives. This is what I imagine living alone in a cabin out in the wilderness would feel like. Pure tranquility.
This channel has been my cat’s favourite. She is 18 and terminally ill now and will pass within the next few days. I can’t stop crying I am shattered beyond grief… my heart hurts but the memories of her lazily yawning and swatting at the birds will live on. Good bye sweet kitty. I love you little one… so much … I just wish it didn’t hurt so much… Thank you for this channel and these videos and making one old kitty very happy
Robins have got to be the sweetest birds I've ever seen. My mother believes her own mother was reincarnated as a Robin, whenever we see one we always feel a great sense of happiness. I love nature so much.
I’m sitting for a cat and thought I would put this on while I was reading. You know, so that he would be entertained. I didn’t expect him to start tapping on my phone screen and trying to snatch those birds! So cute
My cat did the same thing I think they look behind the screen because that’s where they hear the sound. My cat does that on my phone when I turn it on for him on my phone he hears the sound so he looks on back on my phone at the bottom where the sound is
I just wanted to let you know that I have a stray girl and her kitten who absolutely love this video. The kitten likes to put her paw on the birds while they're on screen and looks confused as to why they fly away. The mama is a veteran hunter and she likes to sit back and watch with big eyes. Thank you for posting this! They love it so much and it makes me so happy to see them so happy.
Put this on a while ago for my senior cat and she loved it. But I also come to love it as well. Hearing the birds and natural sounds of life while feeling safe at home is a whole new experience for me.
This is so calming for my cat. He purrs and cuddle. When he falls asleep to this, I could spend hours looking at him. It's like he's watching a Disney movie. 😍
I have cats and every time the birds flying their heads and eyes looks on top to find the birds. They even touch the screen to catch those birds. I have one sick cat when I give him his oxygen treatment I put this video on to keep him busy and pass the time. Thank you to whomever made this video and make my cats indoor life way easier❤️
My cat is a bit of an old lady and set in her ways, she also has anxiety. We moved recently and she was not happy about it or the new house. I tried this video on a whim because I had to leave her for a few hours in the new strange house. I came back from my errands and she was curled up on the sofa watching the bird window (tv) contentedly. We now play it all the time for her. Thank you for making this 8 hour video!
Showed my cat this video on a 65" screen and he was fascinated! He has never even cared about the tv before. I didn't realize he just didn't like what we were watching.
Put this on because I saw my cat staring at the blank internet screen when I walked out of the room. Came back to find my extremely shy cat watching very intently. She was the most comfortable I have seen her in a while and loving it. Thanks so much!
Had my cat curled into a ball in my lap, set this up on my legs so he could watch them and he loved it. He was swating at the screen and chirping, so cute.
Just got in bed, my cat came for a snuggle and I played this vid for her instead of my usual RU-vid shorts. Needless to say she loved it while snuggling up to me! Her ears perking up and she just looked engrossed ❤ definitely will be revisiting this video at snuggle time in the future 😅
No joke, my cat somehow managed to accidentally bookmark this video while swatting at the birds on the touchscreen and sitting on the keyboard. The bookmark is just called “ccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc” but I decided to leave it because I play this video for her all the time anyways.
My cat managed to nose the RU-vid app button on my tablet while I had it lying around unattended, and it started playing the last video in the history, which was... this video. Self service birds!
Played this for my 19yo cat for the first time today. He was sleeping, but instantly got on his paws when he heard the little bird's feet on the wood. He's been avidly watching ever since, something doing some chattering to draw in the birds. The old man still got it.
I just moved into a new apartment with my cat and have been overcompensating as a fur mommy because it was such a big change for her. I’ve never tried a video like this before, but I had to go out for a few hours today and figured why not. Just got home and she was laying on my bed, staring calmly at the tv, just zoned. She looked so peaceful and equally entertained. Fur mommy is happy 😊👍
I've played this video regularly, since my cat was only a little baby. Now he is almost 3 years old, and everytime he hears these same sounds, he immediately relaxes and soothes, because they are so familiar to him. We are so grateful for this lil present in our lives.
I have a very small 16 year old tuxedo kitty who just wants to sleep most days until I found your birds for cats videos. Now every morning she gets up in front of the tv and tries to get some breakfast or perhaps she's trying to groom the birds. Thank you so much. We love it!!
I had a cat that sit with me on the couch at night and watched these videos with him. His reactions made me laugh and feel happy. I don’t know if I’m gonna see him again. Please come back Fitz.
I have to say my very timid rescue cat loves this video, will watch for hours and it helps us bond with her bc we also watch it so she feels safe, so it's woking wonders
