Mike Edwards It’s a modern composite plastic material ,You will find it in all modern boilers It’s the same materials they use on modern cars especially with the water jackets ,coolant pipes and engine manifolds It’s a tried and tested material and in many cases a lot better than metal
Very good video . You went into alot of detail there and I found it useful, so thank you. I've had the 050 for 5 years and it works a treat when all is well. Lately however the hot water has stopped working and immediately I got the plate replaced with the front hose.(it was covered in carbon) This appeared to have resolved the issue for at least a day however now I'm back to square one with no hot water. The boiler doesn't even ignite when the hot tap is running, however the heating is working absolutely fine. Any ideas where.i need to next, what is potentially causing the issue with the hot water.. would appreciate any ideas and thoughts and thanks for reading.
@@warriorsofwarmth Must have been the old boiler, it's a small space, 2 bed 1 bath single floor, 2 zones of hydronic baseboard heating with PEX connecting the slant fin copper, and the whole thing is only 10 years old. Cheap Korean boiler was recalled before they folded. Replace heat exchanger and flush/refill heating loops?
