On 14th June 2022 I took a 17 hour train journey along the coast of Vietnam from Saigon to Da Nang. It was something I have wanted to do since my last trip to Vietnam back in 2018… didn’t quite manage to get around to it back then. I have put together this video to show how I went about organising the trip and booking my tickets. There are also detaisl on the route itself and a selection of photos and video clips I took along the way.
This is my first proper travel video for RU-vid and it has been a massive learning curve for me. I did read somewhere that the ideal length of a video for RU-vid should be between 15 minutes and 20 minutes. This is what I aimed for but it turned out a lot longer. I found it very difficult getting across everything I wanted to say in 20 minutes and it’s something I am certainly going to have to work harder on - my future videos will be no longer than 20 minutes… I promise 😊
Anyway, if you are brave enough to get through the video I’d appreciate it if you would subscribe to my channel and turn on the notifications for my channel.
Hope you enjoy.

Great video, all I would say is that as long as you have a couple of days spare the best way to book a ticket is to just go to the station, unless it's a very busy time of year this would be absolutely fine. And just eat the food and snacks on the train...
