In this video, we will explore the Vietnamese lotus clacker, an unusual musical instrument from Vietnam. The lotus clacker is crafted from three hollowed-out wooden tone blocks. When struck on the side without a slit, it produces a deep, bassy tone. Moving towards the side with the slit generates a higher-pitched note. By alternating between the different tone blocks, one can create various melodies.
