This is the archetype that actually got me hooked ever since Virtual World. Exploring tech option and engine feel so rewarding, it doesn't have to make bs end board, make it fun for me. Thank for the guide.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll consider the bystials over crow. My logic was crow was more versatile into matchups where it helps to hit spells like purrely/gimmick puppet, or snake eyes for their fires. But the more consistent light/dark chaos angel access is very tempting. Keep up the good videos, they've been super informative.
We can play Ghoti of the Deep Beyond for a massive board wipe too! That’s a really good option. We would have to play our cards effectively but it means there will always be banished cards for Dispater to be relevant on the crackback. Not to mention Ghoti would gain a ton of attack.
Great video! Thanks for the feedback! My list was the Centurion one with the Bystials in the main and the Granguignol in the extra. You spoke about the second legend that's not really needed. True, I wrote about that in the text and mentioned that a second Soldier might be the correct choice there. Do you agree? Also the Albion/Granguignol/Lulu package makes Risette and Silve with any Spell/Trap but No other Spell/Trap full combo (can happen in a hand trap build) + It makes double Toy Box full combo. + Some lines through/after nib. The idea is to make Mudragon after Nib, then fusion into Albion with the token, fusion into Granguignol, send Lulu and Lulu can special a Level 4 Spellcaster in the Endphase. So basically you get two Level 8 bodies (perfect with the reviving Tuners in the GY) + the special from Lulu. This package gives you more specific lines and makes the Deck more consistent at locking but I'm not 100% sure so far. I'm still testing the package and the 4 cards could become more of tool boxy cards heading into Euros.
Thanks for going over my lists.. I know they are weird.. Witchcrafter make spellcasters untargetable and provide you two quick effect pops per turn. Plus a dark ruler no more like negation.
Wf Runick guy here 1. rucia to draw is really good in this deck so i want to resolve that every turn -> i want to have one in deck. So i play 2 but 1 is fine 2. terraforming, standup, silve, risette and asteria are starters, and rucia / primera give most of the combo so its fine consistency wise. 3. The deck plays really well into handtraps as long as you don’t draw multiples. Thats why i like to play them at two with cent engine 4. Primera is an brick but you have to summon from deck with standup so you need to play 2 targets. Worst case you can discard primera and it gives you most of your combo 5. you probably know but the reason for breakheart is that it beats nib, if you leave silve + rcia in gy you can summon them make amitrara add breakheart and breakheart summon diabel. 6. the deck grinds allot so you need to think about turn 3+, thats why i play 2 legends even though its bad going second 7. astellar is the best ww starters but its awful going second, if she gets removed onsummon its gg. Runick can combo with silve so you don’t need here, but she is a good discard which is why i dont cut here
Silho and the trap are good because with diabell out you get 3 negates plus a spell/trap destruction. Also you can use the trap plus woes to make diabells if they stopped you turn one or hit you with dark ruler
20:25 grang can send a white woods synchro monster which then you use the tuner in gy to ss its self back out then you make crimson dragon (I play the spell it searches too) and then you combo off. Grang can ss luluwalith when your opp uses a monster effect to ss a monster like nib
Hyped for WF, but not hyped for the price 😂 Holding off on presales - UK pricing is about £30 for Astellar and £20 for Risette. Hopefully when it drops, it'll be slightly cheaper... 🤞
it would be a horribly neg discard, but yes for sure dominus is solid in a fiendsmith meta assuming youre playing hand traps and not breakers. only fire in your deck is ash, which you likely wont draw together with dominus, and if you do you can just ash first and dominus after
@@BimYGO Horrible neg discard yes but it does let your plays start in a pinch. I've been testing a bit with it and tbh it does seem like it will help the deck in a budget version since you can't use Bystials, Chaos Angel, Ty-Phon, S:P and the Centur-Ion package (Auxilia is dark) so definitively a weaker version but maybe there's a way to build it more midrange similar to what Earth Machine can do, instead of the big trains like Super Dora you end up on Anger Knuckle + backrow. Edit.: The Dominus water lock also turns off stuff like Packbit and Coral Dragon, and the fire turns off Magistus and Swordsoul. Kinda hard to build around in TCG but I'm sure there's a way.
When you're playing the smaller cent package (gargoyle instead of wake up+phalanx) how do you end with primera + trudea/garg in backrow for calamity lock? I feel like I'm missing something super simple lol
the centurion combo isnt different in white woods - its still a one card calamity lock where auxilia/legatia brings back primera in ep and you use stand up out of turn the difference in white forest is that access to more tuners/bodies means you can make crimson dragon on top of the first level 12 if you want, so when your opponent's turn starts you already have blazar before calamity/archfiend/blazar#2 also keep in mind that the standard route of trudea placing garg in s/t and then garg adding itself back to hand after being used as material - still lets you use garg eff from hand, sending the trudea left in trap zone or your own field spell to bring itself out, so you can normally sync with gargoyle twice on turn one as long as you have a 2nd tuner
@@BimYGO When you're playing wake up/phalanx, you use your white woods stuff to get into auxila, search stand up, stand up for trudea, trudea for primera, primera search wake up make a token then crimson into blazar, I guess what I'm trying to ask is how you do the same thing if you're playing gargoyle in place of wake up? (assuming in this scenario that you have no other bodies on board) You can stand up for trudea, then trudea for primera getting gargoyle but if you send trudea to summon gargoyle and make blazar then you're down a cent card in the backrow and will only pass turn with the 1 you get back off auxila. Do you just count on having other random bodies from your WW/toy engines? Thanks for the detailed response and all the white woods content btw, have been enjoying it a lot recently
There's a TCG exclusive level 6 dark fiend fusion that was leaked called Necroquip Princess, that is a contact fusion of a monster that is equipped with a monster (Fiendsmith Engraver) plus any fiend monster card (the requiem that is equipped to Engraver). This allows moon into requiem into engraver to be 2 bodies on its own now to immediately make a rank 6, without needing the whole engine to do stuff. The crazy combos it enables tend to need even more extra deck space like Constellar M7 though so I'm not sure if that fits in white forest.
of those two options, probably centurion because it can play through more - but that's if youre on a slightly larger package with emblema oath and multiple stand ups, because those are the cards that add gas, not the normal summons.
