Kinda like when you're at a job and your days are numbered and you're in lame duck status with nothing to lose. I'm kinda in that situation at the moment actually.
There's just something about the general feel of Late Nite . It had a wimsy in those early days..,a kind of magic all it's own that never missed being special every night it was on. He never disappointed!

Questioning my own sanity as I have NO MEMORY whatsoever of this intro. Did they recycle it from an Anniversary Special? Odd they would change up the montage so close to the end of Late Night's run.
