When I made the video, I’d already bought this set a few months prior so by now this product has been around for awhile. The kit I had didn’t include a beard shaping tool, so perhaps it’s been updated, or they could have multiple different kits. Glad you liked the kit. Have you tried out any other beard products you’d recommend?
I was gifted the VR box for Christmas last year & this year & I love it! The oil is kind of bland, i prefer the Target brand that I purchase due to the scent & overall feel of the oil, but everything else is great!
I also am not a huge fan of the in scented beard oils. I’d rather find a scent I like and enjoy the scent under my nose all day. But I suppose when they make those kits they have to go with in scented because they’d have to create a lot of different kits to accommodate everyone’s scent preferences. I just don’t buy the kits anymore. I just buy individual items and find stuff I want to keep using.
@@jdthebearded oh I completely agree, the kit is great for beginners who want to keep up maintenance & have the beard feeling good, but just like yourself I like my oils to have a good scent since it’s the last thing I put in my beard after the wash & conditioner. Im a big fan of the Every Man Jack brand, but if you got any oil recommendations, I’m all for trying new stuff!
I’ll have to try the every man jack beard oil. I haven’t tried them yet. My two favorites at the moment are from Preston Beard Co and the Grave Before Shave oil I did a review on forever ago. Those are my go to beard oils.
