It was already known that his in game personality and voice lines don't really match his lore. The game makes it seem like he's a Singed type who is willing to experiment on anyone and anything to further his goals, whereas Viktor actually is more about trying to help the vulnerable by advancing them just like how he himself is restricted and ill from his relatively frail human form.
I thought his in-game lore was something along the lines of helping people and that comes from replacing their body parts into mechanical. He gained a cult like followers who do evil instead of viktok.
But I thought they made the Arcane version of Viktor tapped into void stuffs because Void revolves on Evolving into what they eat. I thought they were filling in or complementing why Viktor was so Fixated in Evolution just like how the games (League and Lor) makes him
Viktor's HD Rework is very needed much and since the old model is outdated so I am curious to see what riot will do to the character model in league of legends's rework.
and here I'm just praying that they stop forgetting Janna exists. I'd love to see her get a full VGU + VA update. I dont expect her to be in Arcane S2, but shes canonically a motherly figure who watches out for the people of Piltover and more specifically the downtrodden and forgotten people of Zaun.
I love current Viktor so much. His W needs to be reworked though, pretty much all mages have an edge on him because all their stuns are so effective. Lux's, Syndra's, Hwei's, Ahri's, Zoe's, etc. Most importantly, I want his walking animación to remain intact. Viktor looks amazing with that classy walk!
Riot august kinda leaked it a few days back as well. talking about vgus and how some champs shouldnt be changed, somehow he ended up on singed and said singed would never get changed. ergo i assumed the rework was viktor
god i hope it will be a good one that doesnt make im completely unplayable to his fans, i hate just about every rework gutting all the fun of the original kit, i lost my adc pick of urgot cause his terrible rework dont want to lose my viktor pick too
Because Viktor is a fan favorite character in Arcane and he is/was used in proplay alot and thus has a high play rate. Its like asking why Lux and Ezreal have 20 skins while Xerath only has like 5. popularity and money talks at the end of the day League is a buisness
I would like it if Viktor’s ult was larger and felt more powerful visually. His ult has one of (if not the) highest AP ratios in the game (when counting all the ticks) it should FEEL as impactful as rumble ult but doesn’t
I feel like, on the visual side, they will give him more of a nanotech makeover with his suit/armor, sort of what Kai'sa has. Like, instead of early Iron Man, with machinery, it will be latest Iron Man, with nano suits that morph on and off in the blink of an eye
I dont like the idea of an Exo-suit personally. The thing I liked about Viktor's lore was that he went far and above to evolve that he actually replaced his body parts with machinery just making it a lame exo-suit doesnt feel like he is as convicted to his cause and feels watered down imo
I watched the whole video but i still don't know where is it CONFIRMED that Viktor is getting the VGU the only thing i know is confirmed is on twitter on the Question "Will the ARCANE VGU champ be one we saw from s1 (i.e Jayce, Viktor, Vi, Cait,etc)?" Riot Lexical answerd "No it will not be! S1 didn't have power progression for any of the champions. So it would be really tough to base them off season 1."
I just hope that they somehow manage to write him from this soft and introverted character into the same personality he currently has on live. The transition would be so good if they managed to make sense out of that.
Just dont tocuh the Q,everything else is fine by me . And yes Viktor needs visual update kinda hard, Singed needs more massive update,like full VGU,so i feel we wont see it for some more years sadly

Its because its indicator is strange if you aim it like any other straight line skill shot itll function basically the same way. Its just a straight line skill shot you can choose where its starts from. Just imagine for his E your mouse cursor is Viktor's body for that ability
I will play league of legends till challenger when they release Sevika. That is a promise. Until that happens, I'll be sticking to playing chess then and there.

i wish singed got reworked here is my idea passive singed has 0 armor and mr instead he has AP and AP per level(any bonus armor and mr converts to AP) singed has damage reduction based on AP. 50% dmg reduction at 200 AP. he starts around 50 base AP and at lvl 18 he should be around 160-180. singed has no mana instead he has vials which he needs for his basic spells. and basic spells have global cooldown( he needs time to prepare for his next experiment) vials recharge and are shown on his resource bar. q passive poison trail deals damage in an area, damage scales with rank and level + % of target max hp. minions and monsters take extra damage based on AP. the poison lasts 5 seconds scaling with AP. active throw a bottle of strong poison on the ground dealing the same damage as poison trail can do over its duration in 5 seconds. w heath drink. heal singed over time and give him movement speed for 20 seconds. AP increases the streanght of the health regen and movement speed but reduces duration down to 5 seconds. after this point any extra AP goes to further increase of healing and movement speed.(the AP to max the effect is not counted) e acid rain. throw a bottle of acid stunning targets in an area and reducing their magic resist by flat amount(scaling with AP) does not do any damage. R passive +1/2/3 vials. burn it down. after a delay singed ignites the poison gas left behind him(he can still move) dealing any remaining damage instantly - epic monsters take reduced damage
Riot never confirmed is Viktor. Actually BBB the leaker said it was Viktor. But Spideraxe, a pretty well known League informer. Said months ago It wasn't Viktor the VGU. As well Riot said it wasn't Singed.
@@JohnRengo-h4w Singed mains said that if they were planning on changing Singed then they should be talking to the community. And a Rioter said that they didn't need to worry about singed because in case they were changing him they were talking with the mains. And Spideraxe after reading people assuming Viktor was the VGU clarified saying "Viktor is not the secret VGU"
This makes me so sure its gonna be Vi, like out of all the characters that are in arcane, Vi is the farthest from her in game lore and look, and shes already becoming a bit old and outdated, not just with her model, but also her whole ingame identity being police brutality, though also i guess jace and Jinx are candidates too since theyre also old.
@@Angel-eu7pt the farthest is Viktor. But I do think Is Vi too. She's the protagonist and in LoL she's nothing alike. And that makes her a bad selling point for the game. So changing her into an Arcane version makes sense imo. And Imagine doing a Surprise ASU for Jinx. Daamn

Okay great, but now please Riot ffs also give Singed a VGU, i’m tired of such a cool character having a gameplay and design (in game) that is so disconnected from what he should be, not to mention that playing against Singed has to be one of the few champions where i’m like "okay there is literally nothing fun about this, this is just annoying in every way and in the worst way"
I mean that's more then enough new champs for a year. Also they're starting to run out of ideas for new champs so I think they should reduce it to 2 champs per year.

I‘d love for riot to recycle old swain‘s walk cycle with the crutch for viktor. For all the lgbt subtext being forced into the game (I’m still sad they made graves gay and play into the broke back mountain queerification of westerns), I wanna see an ableist approach and disability visibility, like a crippled walking champion > old swain, maybe new arcane Viktor.
i like this victor that we have now and tbh i didnt liked Arcane and i hate this idea of adding arcane characters/skins/events and over all making arcane cannon. For me it was one if not the worst misstakes that rito made
what intrigues me is how void-themed he will be. like a mechanical void character is something i always wanted to see and while viktor ain't a voidborn, the idea of him being possibly fused with it while also using hextech technology is geniuenly inetersting. looking forward to how his character will evolve in arcane
Honestly, when i think mechanical void i always think of kai'sa's father (whom i forgot the name to) i think he was robbed of an update to his model, but it really does seem like riot did everything in their power to not care about the void stuff they had been teasing.
