@@OzmagiQIn my opinion (being a serial watcher of the portuguese league) I think Gyokeres didn’t want to go Arsenal because Amorim stayed. But this year if Arsenal come knocking he’ll definitely leave to Arsenal. A lot of Sporting players were offered contracts this past transfer window but they all rejected them because if Amorim which is very annoying.
@@OzmagiQI doubt Arteta prefers Šeško because over that transfer saga, many reporters reported that they were trying to sign him as an opportunistic buy in the window. The low release clause, if he had one, or having a year or 2 left meant that they could get him for a cheaper fee. His potential is what they viewed as good value for money. Had they been priced at around the same fee, we probably would have seen a different approach from Arsenal

If working out a proper deal for Gyokeres was the reason our summer window was abysmal, and we proceed to actually sign him in January, then all is forgiven. Really takes us to the next level. Gyokeres can operate as a lone striker, on either wings or even in a front two (imagine the link up with Havertz).

As much as I'd love it if we got gyokeres, but I don't think we'd try to get him by January...or even get him at all...his love for sporting and his price tag too makes it difficult..I think we have better chances of getting Benjamin sesko
gyokeres/vlahovic/isak will be a perfect target man for arsenal, and havertz can still play because he's basically roaming all over the frontline looking for space, arsenal attack will be much better

I don't we'll get Gyokeres. I think Arteta is waiting to get Aleksander Isak. He is in love with him. We'll probably spend very highly on him like around 90M. But Gyokeres will either end up at Liverpool or Man City. But while we're at it, I would LOVE to get Assane Diao in this January window... I feel like that kid can be like Henry if coached right to play centrally as well.

Gyokeres is not a good option. I'll be honest these kind of players rip up the lesser leagues and he played for Coventry here. Didn't light up the world at Coventry so it's not worth the risk
Kiwior is a donkey clown. Loses his head and shits his pants when pressures at its highest and loses his head, makes costly errors that kill games & embarrass the badge. He's literally another Holding Mustafi Sokratis etc. I'd sell him in January use that P towards a KILLER in Isak and use Heaven in Kiwiors place.
