Villa dei Vescovi ‐ The sacred geometric code 

If Cobra chose Padua and named his studio “New Renaissance”, it was certainly not for nothing. In Padua, and more precisely in Luvigliano di Torreglia, lies the Villa dei Vescovi.
In an April 2023 Light Portal Activation interview, Cobra revealed that the entire villa was built in the Renaissance period as an Ascension chamber.
This majestic villa, built between 1535 and 1542, is the most important of the pre-Palladian Renaissance. The loggias and interior spaces were entirely frescoed by the Flemish painter Lambert Sustris. The details and stories told by the figurative works, which include mythological subjects, rural landscapes and ruined ancient buildings, are enchanting.
The soul of the villa is a wonderful correspondence between nature and the work of man. It's a place of reflection suspended in time for meditation and active laziness.
But beyond its beauty, the plan of the Villa dei Vescovi conceals a perfect superposition with the plan of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, reproducing the same harmonic code.
