I absolutely agree- village candle is so underrated! They have some really beautiful scents and I have never had any issues with burn or sooting. I adore haunted mansion and ordered a bunch when they had a sale a few years ago- cannot live with out that scent. I also love ghost cemetery- it’s the perfect ambiance to add to a chilly night and watch a scary movie. These two Halloween are my top favorites of all time. Appreciate your reviews on village! Currently burning their “Warm buttered bread” this one is amazing and a beast! Talk about strong thrower! 🕷🖤🕷🖤
I haven’t tried Warm Buttered Bread yet - might have to keep my eye out for that, thank you! Haunted Mansion and Ghost Cemetery are probably my favourite Halloween candles too!
Great review, I just picked up 2 Village Candles this week, Dolce Delight ,it's beautiful and has a strong throw. Also Clean Musk &Vetiver from the Gentlemen's Collection that one is a great fragrance too. I will have to try some of the ones you reviewed. Thanks
Once, I moved 45 minutes away from Aspen, Colorado. Then I lived there for over 3 years. Not once did I ever beg to go skiing 😂 I'm from (and still live in Michigan) so I've been on our shit "mountains" here in the winter. And was like hell no I'm good. So in a real, Aspen Colorado winter setting, I was like even more hell no 😂🙆♀️ I'll stay in the lodge and wait, also 😂
Yayyyyy a Village Candle Haul 🤗. They have some great burning paraffin candles with great fragrances. Not really interested in what BBW is offering for Winter Holiday (most are repackages and one got pulled due to packaging). I believe Kent said Frosted Pine is the Perfect Winter incase you missed that one on Candle Day last year. Goose Creek started loading winter/holiday in their site last night with pretty packaging & don't get me started on The Wizard Of Oz Collection 🤩. I love Rain and Glacier Mist from Village 💙. Enjoyed your cold sniffs!
I haven’t tried Glacier Mist yet, but I’m keeping my eye out because I bet I’d love that one. I noticed the Goose Creek newness. I’m so tempted to order the Wizard of Oz box set but I’m holding off. I’ve already hit my October candle budget lol. 🙈

What a coincidence. I just started buying village again. I do wish the throw was more so I only buy them if they're cheap at TJ and other stores. I wish I could find some of these more unique ones! I'm using Applejack cider now and I'm obsessed with pumpkin donuts.. oh man, it's delightful.. And our big grocery chain down here, publix carries their wax melts. They're balsam fir is so pretty and classic and has me so excited for winter. I hope I find some tree candles at tj soon. These are especially perfect for me right now. We just had two hurricanes hit us back to back and the power connection actually ripped out of my walls from the storm.. power turned on and fried my fridge, chest freezer, lamp, probably my washer and dryer ☠️ life really is awful sometimes. Point is I'm not gonna have power for a long time me thinks so I need light! And these last a long time for that. I'm going to be a pilgrim living by candlelight for the foreseeable future lol

White amber is a lighter, less deep amber. I absolutely love rain and snow candles. From the moment you said "ski trip", I thought cozy in the lodge by a fire with Bailey's. That sounds right to me for a getaway. If I wanted to trudge through snow, I'd just walk around my own yard in the Boston area during winter.
I have Ghost Cemetery and absolutely live it. It has that chill in it like a ghost just walked through you. I also have the scarecrow one, but not Haunted Mansion.
It is nice not to have to babysit a candle. No saying for me. All lodge for me, too. I didn't have any Village candles right now. I try to find them on discount. They all sound great. I am finishing a Flower Child from BBW. Have a great long weekend. ❌️⭕️
Greg I am dying right now I live skiing so jealous you live so close to some great hills. We live 20 minutes from the nearest ski resort and we ski every weekend. 😂 Oh my gosh I need to pick up this rain candle, I love scents like this. Dang that haunted mansion package is sweet. I had no idea they last so long. 😮 hope you get caught up I am still behind on making videos and watching videos. 😢
I am excited to try these thank you for the heads up on these candles I haven't purchased outside BBW in a while so I'm going to buy winter clementine a local grocery store in my town has a small collection of these for sale right now for $14.00 USD they had balsam fir and I think pumpkin spice tomorrow is my birthday and my mom usually takes me to bath & body works to get a candle but I think tomorrow I will be going to Albertsons! The place where I would usually snub my nose at a candle lol!!
I haven’t tried Leather Bound yet! I need to. I agree they don’t do much in terms of new fragrances… but I actually find it a bit refreshing that a company just sticks to their tried and true candles.. and they’re all almost always available.
Hi Margaret! Bath and Body works almost always has White Gardenia on the floor.. it is quite strong! Village also has a Gardenia candle, but I haven’t tried it yet. 😀💜🕯️
I'll have to try the Slopeside someday, I love the ski lift label. ⛷ I always bring a candle on ski trips but never Village because they take so long to burn! I don't mind that Village burns down so slowly, I fire them up when I'm home all day. Village wicks are neat, rarely do they need a tiny trim. I appreciate your reviews, I've only tried the Winter Clementine from the ones you've reviewed today and really enjoyed it.
Thanks! I couldn’t resist and started burning Winter Clementine yesterday, it’s doing really well. Decent strength and I like the fragrance more than I did on cold.
