Village Drive Through Tophill, Mt Pleasant, and Grandbay in Carriacou 

So missing my beautiful island, Carriacou - my HAPPY PLACE. All the villages above the hills from Beausejour used to be in my imagination as a child. My older cousins used to leave me behind with crying protests for the Sunday “hike” to visit relatives in Grand Bay and Mt. Pleasant - They used to say I would keep them back.😅 That was way back in the 60’s and I left the island in ‘72. Seeing what beautiful places they are, I’m so sorry I did not get to know these places. Thank you guys for showing us.🤗

I recommend a visit/ hike to the ruins of the Limlair plantation house. It’s well kept with an inspiring display of the inventory of enslaved people on that plantation at the time of the abolition of slavery in the 1830’s. The view is absolutely beautiful too.👍
