I’ve seen the movie many times and saw this comment before watching their entire reaction, and I know exactly which part he is referring to simply by his perfect choice of words… I hope i’m not wrong but I bet it’s the part where Neytiri loses Neteyam and is out for blood? I guess I’ll find out within the hour 🙂
It's either that or he has a script. I enjoyed this channel way more before I discovered that. The comment section for their reaction to the first Avatar is full of proof that anyone can doublecheck for themselves. Also, it makes sense. They are simply too on point every time they watch something, no missunderstandings, they just simply get everything all the time. Well, there is just no way that it is as genuine and improvised as it is made out to be.
I like that they didn’t shame Spider for saving Quaritch at the end like so many other reactors did. Many children despise their parents for being horrible/neglectful people but still feel an attachment to them and don’t want to see them die.
@@alimantado373 I'd love to see that, can you tell me the name of the video? Searching the channel for Avatar just shows me the two movie review videos and searching for Babu gives no results. Oh wait, unless you misunderstood what I meant. I have seen the first video already, I meant I wanted to hear the explanation he gives in this video that they fast forwarded through.
I love how succinctly Babu explains the Avatar Program. "They go in a machine and their soul comes into this body - in a way they are also human." Everything you need to know to understand the concept is right there.
'She is a wounded lioness, now she spares no one' Dang, what an epic and true line! I LOVED Zoe's acting as a pissed off mother Neytiri, the emotion was RAW
I've been participating in the avatar community for a long time and i have heard many opinions and analysies of both movies. I can tell you that the thing you can't quite place is the difference between the western and traditional way of life. These two have grasped the honor, the tribal dinamics with Metkayina, and the whole thing about brothers and children much better than people from individualistic cultures. That's why they feel genuinely wholesome - they see movies from the point of view of family and community, not from the individual standpoint we Europeans and USAmericans do.
@@sillyjellyfish2421 well said. For whatever reason there opinions and reactions carry a lot more weight to me maybe it’s because of there own culture and how they lived but i have endless respect for these people.
@@sillyjellyfish2421 if we did not in some way share this wholesome outlook then we would not see it in them, we would be confused by it, but that's not the case. James Cameron is not a villager, yet he is able to craft these stories.
@@sillyjellyfish2421 Its exactly those shared values that makes them so relatable. The real difference is something they don't have, a mainstream media constantly demoralizing and shaming them for holding those values. Aside from that, imagine being 30-60 years old and seeing these kinds of special effects or an appliance like a microwave oven for the first time. Its their enthusiasm when experiencing things we take for granted that makes these guys fun to watch.
@@tsalvlaxitov9594 you hit it right on the head these people have a viewpoint completely un-corrupted by modern society and it’s an absolute blast to see.
Every time we hear Neytiri cry, it sends that chill down the spine. The leveling of the Tree of Voices, the attack on the Omaticaya Hometree, her father's death, Neteyam's death. All of it was a mix of heartbreak and rage. It also means someone is going to get wrecked.
My face hurts from smiling and laughing this entire video- their reactions made my day- they're so wholesome and just- they're such lovely people. I wish them the best ♥♥♥
It's kind of entertaining to see one guy familiar with the original and one guy new to it all. Though yeah, Badshah should also watch the original of course.
Just found this channel a few day's ago, I watched a few videos and this is very wholesome to see. Would love to enjoy a movie with some of the reactors, really cool to see them have a blast.
I honestly would have loved to listen to Babu explaining the last movie in his own words. How would villagers react to a comedy about a couple of pot smoking slackers? There are a few of those, Cheech & Chong's Nice Dreams or Up In Smoke, Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle and Guantanamo Bay and Pineapple Express are all hilarious.
@@RetroJack Actually Kush is the premiere strain from India, Kush is an indica and can be great for stress and pain relief as well as help people relax and sleep. Bubba Kush is my go-to indica. Kush is one of the main parents of most Indica leaning hybrids as well. Can't go wrong with Kush.
@@RetroJack Hash is also an India invention. At the head of the Ganges River (Ganja, that's where the word originated) there was a monastery where the Monks would sit and smoke it from hookas while pilgrams would sit at their feet and listen to their wise words. Funny how hash makes people sound smarter even when they're talking gibberish. I once thought I figured out the "Meaning of Life" when I was on acid, had graphs and everything.
the reason why the boy saved the colonel was because Spyder knew that his father loved him and care for him, now he has the feeling of saving him because Spyder wants to let his father know the feeling of what he did to him when Natari almost killed him.
I really do enjoy watching people react who haven't been exposed to the same level of technology that we take for granted. These are warm, simple folk whom I just love! Much love from New Zealand
At first, I wasn't sure about Badshah, considering he smiled through The Exorcist after telling us he had one. 🤣 Of course, when I saw a second video, I figured out quickly that films just blow him away. Both the visuals and the story. His appreciation is amazing to watch, and his pure joy and happiness can be felt through the screen. I feel bad that with his appreciation he wasn't able to watch them his entire life; but then I'm so happy he will be seeing even more movies now!
WOW. That was beautiful. Both the movie and the reactions. I love the way the reactors in this channel speak, and express themselves, they almost seem like family. ❤❤❤
Honestly I always thought of The OA with Spike saving his father... it's one thing to want to kill someone and another thing entirally to watch them die.
It’s a shame that Babu’s polio stricken friend didn’t get to see the first movie. He would have understood Jake Sully better than the rest of us. Fact.😎😉
This is the reason why I didn't watch the video, I feel like it would have been better if they got all the same people who reacted to the first movie to react to the 2nd movie. After watching one minute of the video it is only one person coming back. I stopped it after realizing that.
Ya know, I watch this one, Jurassic park, lord of the rings, and John wick on repeat. And we love the action flicks. Again hearing the music and voices from transformers is going to drive them wild. Prime and all of them really they're going to love that. And the cars and action from fast and furious plus the emotional storyline will be great. But since watching this and hearing Babu correctly identify the whale, saying how he'd love having a relationship like that, I've wanted to suggest a feel good Friday movie. Seeing the son and Payakan which is obviously free willy is just not even a choice. Their reactions of them recognizing the shameless Free Willy plugs of them playing and payakan jumping onto your boat will be amazing to watch. And with their love of Michael Jackson you can show them the video for will you be there either before or after the movie and they're going to love it. Again thanks for these videos. You rekindle why these movies are treasures and not meant to be forgotten..
I didn’t have much expectation going into this movie, but it ended up being a very powerful story about family. Like the first one the plot was a bit thin and the environmental message ladled on a bit too thick, but the family elements were great.
They have a lot of good points like I still don’t get why Spider killed Quaritch, yes he was his father but he will only cause more havoc for the Sullys
I think it’s overdue that Babu and the crew watch ‘Apocalypto’. They will be able to watch a REAL story of tribes trying to survive themselves AND the sea people.😎😀
