I think it’s kinda funny how they expect to see a steering wheel, not understanding that it’s flown with the “gear rod”. I love these guys! (Maybe let them know the smoke is just for show, they don’t normally make much visible smoke.)

It's so funny how Babu always talks about how arguing with your wife effects your work 😅 I'm happy to have found this channel a few months ago and had the opportunity to go back and look at a lot of the previous videos. They have really brought a lot of joy during these trying times. It was good that all of you flew in an airplane in the past. That memory gave you more understanding of what these pilots were doing. Raeen was quietly dancing in place, keeping rhythm while Babu played and sang. Nice to see that he could dance well in front of the camera if he wasn't so shy. As always, Sarru loves dancing and dances loudly with his body whenever he can. Thanks for the reaction.

I love how close these three men are and how much fun they have together whether it is watching this or exploring a zoo, museum or carnival outside of the studio. They are decent, kind and very insightful.

Some great aerial views of Lake Washington during the Blue Angels' annual visit to perform at the Seattle Seafair Hydroplane races. They have been doing it since I was a kid. The airshow theatrics became an impromptu part of the Seafair boat races in 1955 when Boeing test pilot Tex Johnson showed off the abilities of the new Boeing 707 Airliner by doing a 1G barrel roll over the thousands of stunned onlookers. Just to make sure they knew they weren't seeing things Tex came back around and did it again.

Ha ha! These 3 are so awesome. And I laugh so much when the jets spin around upside down, Babu starts waving his arms everywhere. 🤣

Watching with these guys is like experiencing things for the first time again. Always a good time.

I really love these guys simplicity I love seeing their reactions to new stuff. I remember when I emigrated from El Salvador to Canada when I was 14. Flying in a plane for the first time will always be one of greatest memories. I have flown since a couple of dozen times since then and though I keep it together I still get a thrill every time I fly and I don't think that feeling will ever stop

I think they would be amazed if they watched a video on the training the pilots have to go through.

That was Seattle Washington they were performing over. I have photographed them many times. There is a festival in late summer every year called Seafair and the Navy is a big part of it. They are performing during the hydroplane races. There is a video you should see. Hydros move over the water at extreme high speed. I'll bet everyone would enjoy see the reaction to that.

I'm glad they got to see the view from inside the pilots cockpit. That way they can see the talent of how well they can fly within such close proximity to each other.

I must declare this to be one of the BEST video reactions from these original 3 kind hearted men that I have seen so far!

These guys are awesome. They come from backgrounds so alien to the video subject, yet they still get what is going on. They are beyond being cool dudes. I salute them.

The smoke isn’t petroleum, it is for display at will. You should show them that there are female fighter pilots also. I’ll bet they would be surprised at that; it’s not only a male job. Also, females in the military parachute too…

America loves the Blue Angels. They put on quite a show. We have air shows where different types of planes fly. The Blue Angels are the best.

The smoke is part of the show, it's a special effect that's added to help viewers on the ground to be able to see the planes. They're hard to see without the smoke. They can also use the smoke to direct attention. A plane that breaks away from the formation can turn off its smoke, causing it to 'disappear'. It's a way to control the audience's attention so that they're looking where they're supposed to.

Babu's drumming is perfect. Besides the lyrics I like his rhythms very much.

My favorite part was when Raeen pretended that each of them was in a different plane. The childlike wonder just have to make you smile. If you're curious what the pilots are saying, the lead airplane (flown by the Boss) generally talks the most out of the group of 4 aircraft (the other 2 aircraft, not pictured in this video, talk on their own channel and interact quite a bit more), calling out each maneuver just before it happens. Although all of the pilots know the exact sequence of events already, the Boss, uses specific accents or pacing in his voice to control some of the nuances of the maneuver. He says it almost as a trance or a song, it's absolutely fascinating (there are documentaries on how they train). What they do is absolutely incredible. There is very little automation, it is all hand-flown. Every single flight has a very detailed briefing ahead of time, and then immediately after every single flight, there is an even more detailed debriefing that can last for HOURS as they self-evaluate their performance and the team as a whole. There's a lot more going on than just fancy flying :)

The air force Thunderbird team had a horrible incident in the early 70s where all but one aircraft flew straight into the ground...it was concluded the lead plane had a flight control problem that prevented him from pulling out of the dive. That shows the concentration used and faith these pilots have for each other 🙏🕉

I have seen the blue angels many times and it I amazing every time.. loud and smelly and absolutely wonderful

In 1973 my family took all of our kids to a Flying Blue Angels air show in south Georgia. Most of their overhead passes left thick trails of different colored smoke. It's all part of the show. I think that was their last show before a tragic collision between 2 of the planes, while practicing a maneuver, killed 3 of the 4 pilots (there were 2 pilots in each plane). Only 1 of the 4 pilots miraculously survived.

I recognize the area they are flying over in the footage - it's Seattle. Watched the Blue Angels perform there many times. :)

Explain the smoke is not from a malfunction but to enhance their movements for those watching. Also that if one isn't using the smoke trails when the others are it's so they don't blind the others. They miss little things that would help make more sense of things, I find myself trying to tell them out loud lol. We are truly lucky to see these men experience things so innocently and with such respect that we take for granted. It's beautiful.

They "steer" with a stick between their legs. Push forward you go down, pull back you go up, left or right you turn in that direction with the help of peddles your feet push. Right hand; stick, left hand; throttle (fast, slow), feet; rudder peddles. All at the same time while not flying into each other.

Babu is like Betty White with a very shorter public timeframe. Love you all

How about showing a video explaining basic aircraft flight, so they can see how the stick, throttle, and rudder pedals are used?

The steering is not like a car, it is down between his thighs, like a shifter or toggle. They steer with one hand covering it, you can see it in some of the images that he is holding something between his legs. It’s literally a stick that moves forwards, backwards, and side to side.

That was Great!! I enjoyed being with the guys watching the video. Loved when Sarru said “ Spray in our area to kill mosquitoes” (It’s hot exhaust meeting cold air) I nearly fell off the chair “LOL-ROTF” As I thought “Dang” those annoying “torpedoes are everywhere.” Here in SE USA that’s what I call mosquitoes.
