If you ever have the pleasure of visiting a MENA country the live call to prayer is much more beautiful and touching...I thought it was the most beautiful sound on earth, I am not muslim. I actually think that this version they use is flat and does not compare. Usually the call moves me to tears but this one was okay. (personally, cause maybe I've heard the great callers before! Even in Turkey they were very lovely calls, it is not even mena, huge or majority there yet it's still great!)

God is just a single artifact. Spirituality, faith, virtue, and community are their own things. I don't know if there's anything divine (I'm agnostic but with a "pet theory"), but like you I can feel the power of spirituality, community, and inner strength.

I'm a nordic pagan but I have attended a catholic friend's chior a few times, and will again if they can perform again. I have to say this catholic is very respectful of other religions and non-religious people.
