Every person should be as open minded, contemplative & appreciative as these fellows are. They aren't trying to convince anyone of anything. They don't need laws to tell them to accept others because it's as natural as breathing is for them. I think most people on a fundamental level are naturally like them in the beginning. Unfortunately many people's upbringing, their exposure to media or one off personal experiences often putrefies this nature.

Lol, it's because they know very little. It's like telling the story of Harry Potter, like cool story bro, I like it. It's not real for them, it just sounds cool. There's no historic burdens, they're not very exposed to Christianity. But Islam is hated in India, that's because they have history of conflict and live with muslims. It's like us in the west thinking buddhism is quite alright, but someone closer to it might have a very different opinion. In other words, ignorance.

They are like children and I hope they come to Jesus as He said we must come to Him with the heart of a child. Praise Him.

Are you aware that parts of the western world celebrate xmas "sans Jesus"? I.e. the Nordics celebrate "Jul". It is more about winter turning into spring - dark into light - than Jesus stuff. This is an ancient tradition - where we get the tree from and all that. This video was .... mildly nauseating. Seeing grown men sitting there talking about this fairytale like it is reality with some sugar sweet, pompous movie score on top. VERY "american".

The Lord is breaking my heart for them tears rolling down my cheeks as I sit in a hospital waiting room. I'm just here for tests. But I'm watching others who are here because of more serious reasons. I was raised that way too . I married an indigenous American man and our children were also raised to learn as much as they could .

In my country everyone celebrates and understands each other's religions. You will see a Christian taking part in Diwali or Holi. Indians, and Caucasian individuals dressed in African wear for emancipation. Hindus or Muslims taking part in Christmas festivals.

Well, Jesus said that the meek will inherit the earth. Look at how meek Jesus was...... with all of his powers, he acted so meekly that he took the role of a servant and died on a cross. Meekness is humility toward God and toward others. It is having the right or the power to do something but refraining for the benefit of someone else. But Christians are also given a job.... to spread the word. Many people do not work on the fruits of bible study, hence meekness does not appear in their actions.

In my opinion most people actually are very loving and tollerant. It seems to be the few, who are responsible for all the wars and hate.

I agree. These gentleman are so respectful and moved even by the Christmas story which has nothing to do with their faiths at all! Learning how and why others believe enriches our knowledge and help us understand others. I myself have always been interested and was lucky enough to have a Jewish girl, some Roman Catholic girls, and a Hindu girl amongst my friends in my mainly Protestant class at High School. No one felt bad when we asked each other about their faiths. In fact one day, in my last year at High School aged about 17+ myself and two or three others were invited to our Hindu friends house for the day. We sat on the carpet together, and we asked “So, what exactly do Hindus believe..” explaining what we did know. Oh my! Our friend started in the mid morning and finished after dinner! I think she told us everything possible! Maybe the Mahābhārata ! It was fascinating and brought us much closer to understanding her and her Indian Hindu country/folk!

Yes what has happened in the UK and other European countries is very sad. As for the origins of Christmas, true it was co-opted from a pagan festival but Christmas is no longer a pagan festival. In the same way the British Isles were once Pagan but are no longer Pagan. The origins of a festival are interesting but just because something was once one thing does not mean it will always stay that way (the slide of the British people from Christianity into secularism for example).

These men get it: "Love God with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself. These are the Great Commandments". I wish people of all religions would take these things as primary instead of arguing and hating. Even for non-believers, the second part will do the world good.

Christmas in all of europe is based on the pre-christian traditions. The christmas tree is an old german tradition which originaly had to do with Tor and the tree of life. Santa Claus is basically based on odin, who flew on his eight-legged horse sleipnir, even the look of the modern santa claus was illustrated for coca cola by a swedish man/or from swedish descent who based the look on the Tomte. Then added the red colours of course. Ect and so on. Christianity put their traditions on the dates of old pagan traditions. Its easier to change the why than to change the actions themselves. Most historians who believe that jesus was real, thinks that he was actually born in autumn. Behind every christian tradition is an old pagan tradition they tried to erase. Midsummers eve is kinda known for being one of the only holidays that christianity was not able to claim. Sure, they say its John the baptist birthday but atleast in scandinavia no one would know that unless they look at an almenac..if it would even register in their minds having read that. We only know that we are celebrating summer and has nothing to do with jesus.

Similar in Germany, though Christmas itself is a lot more christianized we also call it "celebration of light" and hence celebrate it during the night of the 24th. We don't have Santa Klaus but celebrate Saint Nikolaus on the 6th who is often accompanied by a servant in chains (or krampus in the alps) who is often believed to represent Wotan (Odin) accompanying the bishop. Other than that we have on the 11th of November Saint Martin's day which is in all but name a celebration of the wild hunt: a procession of all the children following a sole soldier rider who is characterized by his cape running through the night with every child holding a lantern, after which they go with their lights from house to house, sing songs and receive sweets in return and gather all the other people at the big central bonfire around which we will drink, dance around and jump through the fire until the sun rises. Also we have the so called "Rauhnächte" around Christmas when we believe the veil between the worlds to be thin enough to allow spirits to pass through on specific nights and hence have all kind of celebrations to keep people inside (Perchten runs in the south) or drive the ice spirits away (e.g. silvester, where we launch a ton of fireworks and depending on the region also flaming wooden disks golf style down cliffs and hills to drive away the ice spirits)

Edit: just googled Yule - it is exactly what we call and celebrate as Rauhnächte in German (12 days between the 21st of December (Thomasnight), including Christmas day till the 6th of January when the wild hunt, which starts during the night of new years eve (hence the before mentioned tradition of making as much noise and fire as possible) is believed to settle down during the night towards it)

The should better watch the movie *"King of Kings"* from 1961 or *"The Greatest Story Ever Told"* from 1965.
