What is Sad is their people were treated like terrorists for year's after this happened and they were victims just like us😢😢They love Americans and they were mourning to 😢
Yes, americans should know whole world mourned; and when he was killed everyone rejoiced. Including us moslems. We moslems are humans too, just like you guys. We have feelings, consciousness and compassions. Please.. Get this in your head
@@HyperBali This is very true. While what happened on 9/11 was very tragic our country and our culture over-reacted and a lot of innocent muslims faced persecution when they shouldn't have. It's understandable how this came to be, but it is also something that our nation needs to make amends for and ensure does not happen again.
Because the terrorists dressed like average people and that still happens today terrorists hide in crowds so it's impossible to judge who is or who is not a terrorist. I would rather be safe in knowing that they couldn't do that because everyone was labeled as one.
Hi guys! I was homeless when this happened, yet word got out on the street about Ben-Ladins death. Everybody was elated. We we went down to the store and bought a lot of beer and celebrated. It was a night to remember! Later, I saw the actual footage taken by our Special Forces. You should show them that film.
Finding people who have never seen 9/11 is incredible and so rare. There's this weird beauty in seeing people react to major events that I previously thought everyone knew about
I was scremaing 'YES! WE GOT THAT SOB!' when I saw the news. The next day, my classmates were chanting USA USA! My graduating calls of 2012 were 6-7 when 9/11 happened, we remembered that day as if it were yesterday.
*Babu, it took 10 years because he kept moving and hiding in his networks. We had to be sure it was him and not mistake another for him. He had a vast network to stay hidden with. Oh, we celebrated. Many of us, me included, whooped out our windows, cheering "WE GOT HIM! People were literally in the streets cheering, hugging, crying.*
@justaguy2365 No, they need to stay awake, and alert, and not be bored to tears. My dad and uncle took me and my cousin to see Hank Aaron play in Baltimore in the 70s, as little kids we never even watched the game we just played in the aisles. After it was over our parents took us down to the edge of the field to try to get autograped baseballs. I still remember Hank walking within 3 feet of me while I was holding a ball out to be signed and he just ignored us. That was the last baseball game I ever attended or almost watched. Funny side note is that I played baseball pre high school and pitched a no hitter against Hershey, I even got my name in the Harrisburg newspaper lol.
@@CaptainDarrick It's a statistics game. If statistics isn't your thing then baseball isn't gonna be your thing. Cuz it is very slow, but it's a numbers game.
I've watched 2 or 3 videos with these 3 gentlemen in particular and I love that at the end of each video I've seen so far, the elder pops in with "Ooh! I have a song for this!"
I love how the announcer, Dan Shulman, said, “don’t say anything; we’re preparing a statement,” as if the thousands of spectators there don’t have phones, social media, etc. Not EVERY person at a game is focused on and glued to the game! I wonder how many people at the ballpark actually knew at the same time, or even slightly before the announcers, lol.
I smile at the idea of bursting fireworks and distributing sweets. I am surprised at how they are extremely ready to put terrorists under the sword and it makes me wonder what event or experience is in their minds. I wonder: How often does Babu create music to match the theme versus playing an existing song that he knows? I think that I would like this series better if a second 'take' was included. Explain to them what they just watched. Then, record additional reaction based on the additional explanation. It's frustrating that they don't understand whether Obama was watching the game, or understand why it took 10 years to track down Bin Laden, or recognize the basics of baseball. With additional explanation, they would better understand why certain players are isolated and also realize how news trickles into a large crowd. This would help bridge cultural gaps and increase the potential value of their responses, since they could better match it up with their experiences and understanding. Please consider adding an additional segment: 'Responses after additional explanation.'
i was 14 years old and came home from school, when we got the news about the 9/11. I live in finland, but i remember it forever, because i was 100% sure that it's event what starts world war 3. It was horrible, rip all victims of it.
can you show these same 3 a video on how baseball is played and explained, its the America cousin sport of Cricket and they will like it once they learn how its played @@CommonManShow
@@CommonManShow @lukespooky is referring to the video that shows the actual attack on NYC, the effects of the attack on the Pentagon, as well as the large blackened hole in a field in Pennsylvania, which was the remains of the 4th plane. This plane had been meant for the White House, but the passengers had been informed about the other attacks when they called loved ones to say goodbye. The passengers decided that they couldn't let this plane hit its intended target , so some of the younger men fought back against the terrorists, and this caused the plane to be driven into the ground at a very high speed, so high that it disintegrated. That's the video that they're talking about.
Their compassion for the innocent of all countries and all races is an inspiration, and their ruthless sense of justice is commendable. Huzzah for brotherhood between all humans, or at least those of us who don't go around causing mayhem. Terrorists and warmongers must fall for the benefit of all others. Their enthusiasm for the USA here reminds me of my feelings for Ukraine in recent times.
Now, you will need to show video of how baseball is played. The gentlemen seemeed quite confused about this game. I would like them to see how it's played.
When Osama Bin Laden was killed, I was glad, but more than that I was relieved, because he could not inflict that evil like 9/11 on anyone ever again. I just felt safer after that. Thank you for your thoughts. I enjoy the senior gentleman's songs, they are happy songs. Thank you.
I remember when during the Phillies game, the players were confused why the crowd was chanting USA repeatedly. To answer about who are the Phillies, its the Philadelphia Phillies Major League Baseball team.
Have watched your vids for a while. This is an old one so you will probably never see this comment. I have never met these people, I will never understand their culture or language, but I know them. Seeing their faces and reactions lets me know that we are all the same. Love the reacts!
As an interior design student we had to learn how and why the Twin Towers collapsed in case such unforseen tragedies occur in future events. We learned that the metal beams were left unprotected with no flame/heat retardent coat and the intense heat from the fires of the airplane fuel heated the metal up enough to make it brittle and bent them enough to create a chain reaction which led to the Twin Towers collapsing. It was an unforseen circumstance that led to the Twin Towers being vulnerable to malicious attacks. Watching the documentary about the explaination of why the Towers fell as they did and it made me so sad and angry at the terrorists attacking our people in such a cruel and horrid way all over again. He knew the best way to attack and spread fear is to attack his enemies homeland when their guard is dropped. I'm so glad he finally was brought to justice and never lived to terrorize again. 😢
Baseball Basics There are 9 "innings" where each team has a chance to play offense and defense. Each inning, each team may continue hitting until 3 players make an "out". An out is where either a player fails to hit 3 pitches into fair play (3rd failure must be a complete miss of the pitch) or the player hits the ball in the air and a defender catches it before it hits the ground or a player hits the ball and the ball is thrown to 1st base before the batter reaches there or to any base where a runner is running to with runners behind him and the ball beats him there, each of these are possible ways to make an out. 3 outs means your offensive inning is over and you switch to defense to stop the other team by getting them to make 3 outs. If the batter hits the ball into play (between the lines) and no one catches it before it hits the ground and he makes it to first base before the ball, its a hit. If he hits it well, he can continue running the bases until forced to stop. If the player makes it to the 4th base (home base), he scores 1 run. If a player hits the ball beyond the outfield fence in between the base lines, it is a home run and he can touch all 4 bases unimpeded to score a run and all players on base in front of him can score too. After 9 innings, the game ends and the team with the most runs wins. If the score is tied after 9 innings, they play 1 inning at a time until 1 team finishes with more runs. You should definitely watch a baseball rules video next, one with live action. During each inning the visiting team bats first, the home team bats last. There are similarities to Cricket but the pitcher throws it faster. He is less than 20 meters away (60 feet, 6 inches) and can throw it as fast as 100 miles per hour (160 kph). The "at bat" for the batter is a battle of 7 pitches. If at any time he puts the ball into play, his at bat ends. The at bat is comprised of balls and strikes. A strike is any pitch the batter hits into foul play (outside the base lines) or a pitch he swings on and misses or a pitch he doesn't swing at but crosses over home plate between the knees and letters of the jersey. If the pitch is too high, too low, or left/right of home plate, it is a ball. 4 balls by the pitcher and you get to go to first base for free without hitting (it is a called a walk), 3 strikes and it is an out. The 3rd strike can not be a foul ball but must be either a swing and miss or a strike without swinging. Foul balls keep the count at 2 strikes as if they never happened. 3 outs ends the inning. The field has 9 players on it. All 9 take turns in order batting. If an inning ends, the next batter up will go first the next inning.
Literally one of the most memorable moments of my entire life. I was born in 1996. Most of my memories are of a world literally held hostage by one insane man. When he died it was like we had been set free from a decade of fear.
It is very unusual that only ONE sporting event happens on a particular evening in the USA, but this particular night, this was the ONLY game. They noted that in the video, but didn't really discuss how truly unusual an occurrence that is in the US. I'm still unclear as to why they didn't show the Presidential address on the Jumbotron; they could have, very easily, but didn't. Also the significance of it being a New York team playing that night cannot be overstated.
You guys are great. Plz come vacation in America. I will literally pay for everything. Plz hmb. I would love to bring you all to a baseball game, and a hockey game. Plz LMK if thats a possibility.
*I remember 9/11 vividly, and also remember Obama's address to the nation...and world...that he was finally dealt his consequences. So many tears and fears on the first one, and yes, celebration on the second. I don't like rejoicing in another's demise, but some humans are an exception.*
I'm Canadian and I cried for 3 days, glued to the TV. I went to donate blood, was told I didn't have enough iron, went home ate a steak and broccoli and went back.
The day Obama was elected president, I had the feeling Osama would die. The names Osama and Obama were too similar to co-exist. When Hillary headed the State Department and insisted that SEAL Team 6 take out Osama, she honestly earned the nickname that the conservatives used against her, Killary. Then when Obama said the body was buried at sea reminded me of that line in "The Godfather" movie. He sleeps with the fishes.
The cheering and chanting, it's the darker side of human nature, we get pleasure and satisfaction from revenge, and it helps us to deal with the emotions associated with being wronged. It's not rational, but it's played a large part in shaping our society. For example, our judicial systems factor in retributive justice when deciding on punishments, even if it serves no other utility than satisfaction of this desire/emotion. Those emotions are real, and the closure that retributive justice brings is real. But I think our need for it is a symptom of human weakness; an unhealthy trait that humanity possesses. We try to glorify it by calling it justice and pretending we're serving some higher principle. But really we're just serving an irrational human emotion, and trying to validate it to make our ego feel better about indulging in revenge. Events like Bin Laden's death really illustrate how powerful this emotion is, and how it serves no other purpose than gratification and closure.
Some day they need to watch a couple American baseball games with someone that can explain the rules and what is happening on the field. They refured to cricket a couple times. I know enough about cricket to get into trouble. But to follow a game for me it's not going to happen.
Don't bother. I live in a soccer country (not that I watch it either, and I don't fully understand the rules either, though it does seem more logical and it's clear where the competition element lies), and nobody here understands baseball, let alone plays it (except a few very small groups in the Japanese immigrant community). We see it in the movies and remain absolutely clueless about what it means. A guy sends a ball with a bat, another catches it with the hands, then he starts running like crazy, and that's it. WTF does that all mean? And what is so exciting about that to draw such big fanatic crowds? I've read countless explanations of the rules, and I still don't understand them. Baseball is a strictly American thing (and of a few other countries, like Canada, Japan, Cuba, and Venezuela, but that's all). To the other 92% of humankind, it's meaningless and looks very silly and boring, zero emotion. Oh, and everybody is puzzled with American football, too. Soccer itself is called "football" here, with good reason, because it involves an actual ball that's played with the feet. American football involves a funny fuse-shaped artifact that doesn't meet the definition of a "ball", and it's played with the hands. So, we don't understand why it's called "football".
Watching this few days after G20 ended, and I'd like, on behalf of all Canadians, to apologize to the Indian people for the shameful behavior of our prime minister. 🙏 May you never have to suffer his awkward presence in your beautiful country anymore.
I dont agree with everything America did to citizens who didnt even know who Bin Laden was. But we didnt know what to do. We hadnt been attacked since WW2. We were scared. I dont blame the people. I blame the terrorists
Some comments referencing to Americans and how the situation was handled towards a certain group of people in reference to 9/11. I agree on some points, but not all. Most Americans know that the whole world grieved when this happened. Yes, some things could have been handled better. It’s easy to say that now, and look back at what could have need changed. But in the heat of the moment, when people were hurting, and they wanted answers and someone to pay for the wrong. You have to understand the difference between traditional Muslim and the other that are extreme “Muslim”. No one says all are evil, but it only takes a few bad ones to decimate thousands of people. It wasn’t a war on Muslims, it was a war on terrorists. Those terrorists where in Muslim countries, so, that’s where you have to go to find them. Example- when Hitler went on a rampage and killed thousands of Jews, it wasn’t all of German people, but a few killed thousands. It’s the same for any other tyrannical regime. But truthfully, when all of that went down, and everything that followed. You had a group of people that wanted to kill Americans, not Russians, Europeans, Japanese, Chinese or any other nationality of people. It was a war on America, so, yes we was more caution, yes, there was fear. They didn’t even care about their own lives, how to you defeat that? In the aftermath, me along with most of, or all Americans were terrified! So were we more cautious of Muslims? Yes! You don’t have the time to have a conversation with someone or a group to see if they mean you no harm. Do I think some people were idiots, and took some things to far? Yes, most definitely. Was I more cautious when I encountered someone that looked like the terrorists? Yes! Example, I grew up in Detroit, I’m black, but when going into gas stations, which are predominately owned by Middle Eastern people. When I walked in, they were watching me all the time, why? Because they run into a lot of black people that rob their stores. Should I get mad, and say not all black people are thieves or criminals? No, because it’s the truth, there are a lot of crimes committed by black people. I don’t get mad at them, I get mad at those black peoples that have portrayed that type of message. There are black men that are Muslim, they weren’t labeled terrorists, only the ones from those middle Eastern countries. I’m also not saying shoot first then ask questions, I’m just saying, that there was a caution affect that was going on, and it was rightfully warranted. America, for the first time in a very long time was scared, we don’t live in terror everyday like some others in other countries. When your scared, you might overreact sometimes, but it’s just the way it is, it’s complicated. That also needs to be understood by Muslims that say, Americans hate all Muslims. We, as Americans stood together against a small group of people that killed millions of Americans. With no remorse, to hurt and kill and destroy people that do not believe their “Religion”. That’s messed up, and scary.
As an American, I am conflicted. Yes, I did feel a sense of righteous justice and even some closure, but at the end of the day, it’s still a person’s death. I just feel more somber and less jubilant.
God blessed you all. And R. I. P. for death of all happened on 9/11/01. Y'all should bring them to state to show them baseball and football. They'll love it.
You NEED an AMERICAN man to talk to before you keep doing videos like this. Doing them out of order is almost useless. If you want to respect America, please stop doing this without an American consultant
Bless them for feeling happy for us. What I remember the most is the relief. Killing him didn't destroy all terrorists, but it delivered a big blow to his organization. He could have gone on a lot longer if he hadn't struck at us so grievously. But he made the same mistake Japan did with the Pearl Harbor attack. He woke the sleeping giant.
Just watching your confusion is hard to watch! This is called baseball maybe watch a few videos of how it’s played and the last guy was out because he did not hit the ball, so that’s why the New York Mets won the baseball game.
I have to come back and watch that video from time to time, America united for a brief moment on that day, Americans were proud to be American, every man and woman, every race, cheered. The way things are going now… it saddens me, I want to see this country proud again.
I thought this was going to be the actual footage of them going into his compound and killing him. Not as good but they should definitely learn about baseball now they seemed very interested in it.
I don't care what someone does, taking someone's life should never be celebrated, yes be glad that he is not going to do any more wrong but celebrating wildly is wrong in my eyes
@@Shrek_Has_Covid19 I didn't say don't be glad,be happy that the fear someone has brought is lessened and celebrate that fact but I will never celebrate the taking of a life.
Yeah, I get what you mean, but this guy orchestrated killing 3,000 freaking people, was on the run, a goddamn coward, for 10 years, because he knew that when we did eventually find him, he was dead, even if he was put in prison, I bet you anything the other people there would have killed him.
Show Babus early reply about terrorism to all the men who talk about oppression and toxic masculinity. Just like most men, his first concern about terrorism was children, WOMEN and older people. That’s telling you that he values women over men
What on earth are you talking about? He said that terrorists try to strike where there are also women and children. The point is that they are striking civilians as opposed to military, which are generally mostly male. You are trying to paint him with some anti-woke viewpoint that isn't there. Also. are you saying men shouldn't be against oppression? Because that's what it sounds like you're saying
@@trentrez6643What do you think misogynist means? It doesn't have anything to do with this video or with terrorism. I can't speak for you but I haven't had women accuse me of that. Maybe it has to do with things you say? I don't know anyone who has accused any of the Common Man gang of misogyny. They are always super supportive of women having the same rights and opportunities as men. You can see that by watching any of their videos where they react to female soldiers.
@@CharlesShopsin well first, I never said they had any problems. In fact I just complimented them. My reply was in response to this modern global consensus that men are all Misogynists and “the patriarchy”. I am saying that what Babu said is just one example of “the patriarchy” not being a real thing
