Hello Sirs, I would like to tell you that I have lived in the city In Finland where they built two of these Royal Caribbean ships and was one of the builders. Oasis and Allure of the seas. Gudduu commented about the rusting, both ships we built have a special zinc coating and a very thick paint to stop corrosion.
Actually the ship was inspired by the ferry between Stockholm and Helsinki from Silja Lines. This ferry was the first schip with an inside street on board. I traveled from Stockholm to Helsinki in the early 1990s when it was just a few years old. Very cool! And because of the Silja Line these schips were build on the same wharf.
@@bucklberryreturns My apologies. I thought you meant something else. Nowadays, they sell off much of what they can from the ship, then scrap the rest. I don't think they just let them rot anymore.
I'm pretty sure, even for most westerners a ship like this is just mindblowing. Going with the ship theme I had the thought that it might be interesting for the guys to get a look into a research vessel. There are certainly some videos about the work and daily life on board of a ship made for oceanography and marine biology. Would love to see their reaction to one of those.
I like this. The guys are all super interested in the natural world, so having a ship going to the arctic (for example) to learn about that area/climate/ecosystem/etc would be a good watch. If not for them, definitely for myself! 😁
I wish someone like Disney would sponsor them on a trip. Disney is the highest form of hospitality the United States has. I would love to see them discover that. Especially Babu.
@@shampoovta Disney would never do that, they're too busy grooming children now, I wish they could experience something like that too but Disney's too radical nowadays, maybe universal studios would be better
Awww I love Raeen watching the video and smiling realizing he’s tried some of the food they showed! It’s just so cute and sweet to me ❤️😭 literally made me smile
Had a cruise vacation some years ago and was really impressed. I didn't really care for all the animation or special activities but just enjoying the sea and finding a nice spot to read and have a drink was awesome.
I actually went on Wonder of the Seas (at a heavily-discounted price: I wouldn't normally be able to afford it) in May. It had a lot of great things, but I actually prefer a smaller ship. The food is better and it's easier to make friends!
I also prefer the smaller ships. My very favourite is Radiance of the Seas, she's tiny compared to these behemoths. My best favourite Voyager of the Seas. She's beautiful and the perfect size for a South Pacific cruise. Ovation of the Seas is nice but too big for me.
I have been on 2 Cruises , on ships somewhat smaller than this. Once from Nales Italy thru the Mediterranean Sea, across the Atlantic to New York....22 day. The other from Hong Kong to Hawaii then to San Francisco California in the U.S. ....32 days!! BOTH were FANTASTIC and I would do it Again for SURE!!!😘👍👍💖💖💖💖💖💖💖👌👌👌
That one guy who's been an iron-worker, I'll bet he'd definitely love to see how they construct these huge ships! I think there's a couple different videos of that on YT; they should do a showing of one of them.
I knew it was bound to happen one of these days... this channel has had a group of loyal viewers/subscribers for some time now, who've been watching their videos (almost daily for many of us) and have come to know the participants and how the channel operates quite well. I think it's safe to say that many of us have even formed a sort of familial bond with them. But it seems like it's come to the point where a lot of rude, seemingly ignorant people must be finding these tribal reaction channels in their recommended videos and are watching one video and assuming they know everything about the channel and the reaction team members. Some of the comments I've seen lately make me wonder how there can possibly be so many miserable people in this world. If you haven't watched several of the videos here and haven't seen the wonderful things the channel has done for these men, please don't assume that you know what's going on here and please don't make accusations about some perceived notion that there's some kind of exploitation happening here. There isn't.
$1 million rupees is $12,000. I just looked up tickets and they’re $600-1,800. Still a lot for people of modest means, but an order of magnitude cheaper than they were told. Unless I’m misunderstanding the translation
@@Blablablarandomguy yes I know that, but they should know that by our standards it's not considered a rich person. My point was that they thought maybe only Rich Americans can afford such cruise ships, when most Patrons are not considered rich by U.S standards, just normal people and families who can enjoy such cruise liners for a vacation.
Holy heck, that's an impressive cruise. Never been on a cruise before. I would probably just having fun walking around in and out of every section of this massive ship :D
I’ve been on Ovation of the seas and yes they are impressive but you are sharing the ship with 5000-6000 other passengers. I found it too crowded and for any of the entertainment venues you had to book everything. It was enjoyable but I prefer the smaller ships.
Guddu worried about rust but there are special paints for maritime use that they apply in as many coats as the manufacturer and the shipowner require. Moreover, vessels also have zinc anodes below the waterline. They corrode first and leave the vessel's hull undamaged. These are inspected/replaced when the vessel is drydocked.
I was equally amazed - I've never been on a cruise ship before but my parents have brought home some fantastic pictures. Looks like the perfect vacation!
My parents love Royal Caribbean. They like to take the 1 week cruise to Alaska, it is beautiful landscape. They recently went again for their anniversary ( it usually runs them about $8,000 US, a lifetime of work for some, I know) it wasn’t as great since due to Covid they were short staffed and short on food… However I highly recommend the cruise line and hope someday these great men and their families are given a chance to travel on a cruise too!
I don't think they realize how long you are on a cruise ship. You should let them know the reason there is so much to do on the ship is because you are on the ship for at least a week. You will need plenty to eat and plenty of things to do during that 7 days.
I wish I was wealthy enough to afford a go on one of these. We see a few in our ports in New Zealand and each time I wish I could have a go. I'd definitely put myself on a diet when I got back as I'd hit those restaurants hard!
@Everyone has an opinion I've never been on a cruise but my wife and I saw an an ad and we could get a 4 night cruise on Royal Caribbean for $320 US per person for the whole trip with meals. That's cheaper than staying in a budget hotel lol.
@@ZepG Fair enough. I'd say do it if you can and all your ducks are in a row, especially if you've never been on a cruise ship before. Still, it is a fair chunk of money if you're on an average income
@@TzOn79 I know, I'm saying in their point of view they even think that only a small percentage of Americans can probably even afford going on the ship, when in actuality it's a large percent. A cruise ship like that cannot sustain itself on only rich people, it takes average Working Class patrons/guests to keep it afloat financially. But I can see where you're coming from
I think it's a pity that the guys were told that it costs millions of rupees to be a passenger on this ship!!! Millions of rupees is a grossly exaggerated amount of money! I have just checked prices now for cruises on this ship, and the starting price for a 7 night cruise costs less than rs 1,000. So even if someone were to choose a longer cruise, with upgrades, it would still not amount to millions of rupees! I request that the show's producers inform the men about this, as part of the show here, is to inform and describe, so unless corrected, they are going to think that only multi millionaire's will be able to go on this cruise ship
To go on the wonder of the sea cruise starts at $560 us dollars for 3 nights up to $1,200 for 12 days and kids are free sounds petty cheap to me with everything you get I think you guys should set up way we can donate money for a cruise for all the guys it's a life experience they will never forget
I've never been in a cruise ship but when I went to Cozumel there were a couple of them parked out near the ferry landing. They are bananas. It doesn't make sense that those things can move without tipping over.
ha ive watched a couple vids of these ships and probably had similar expression. the sheer size of them are incredible and at over 200k tons its amazing that it floats.
When I Cruised, you only paid for gambling, alcohol and fizzy drinks. (Coke, Mt Dew) Everything else was free, and yes you will eat until you cannot walk. It's ALL good and you can have it 24 hours a day.
Doesn't really appeal to me, but it is nice to see what the experience is like. Especially as I just read an article about the pros and cons of a cruise from a reporter going on one the first time. Great reactions, amazing to see what it's like aboard, through their eyes and mine. I agree on rich people. 😁 I'd have to save up years! Loved Guddu's comments from the construction POV - and some of the comments responding. LOL on his "you couldn't imagine" re the amount of iron. Yegawds, it looks like an entire apartment complex's work of materials! Mind-boggling.
Some Americans retire on cruise ships because they cost less than retirement homes and everything is included. They just live there in the same cabin and travel from port to port
They think this is for wealthy people, but those ships are considered middle class ships. That brand tends to go for lower middle class people and upper working class people. It does have more things going on then in the ships for rich people. But those in turn tends to specialize in other ways. In more space pr passenger, so you get more peace and quiet, and more land based activities. More unique destinations. Company of other rich people, something that also can hold value for some), etc...
We only saw 6 of the 17 levels, the top is the Bridge, passengers aren't allowed up there, 11 of the accessable decks are passenger cabins, we saw their cabin, that leaves only 5 decks for everything else. I've seen multiple walk through tour videos of this ship, it always blows my mind how much they packed onto it.
The bridge is actually located on deck 12. Other than that, this deck only has passenger cabins and in the most forward part, just behind the bridge is a locked-off area which holds the cabins of the senior officers. All the other crew and staff cabins are located at the very bottom of the ship, on decks 2, 1 and 0. The lowermost accessible deck is the Tweendeck, there are offices, workshops, storage areas, but no crew cabins.
My friends and I were booked on Anthem of the Seas but Covid-19 put a stop to that. I don't know if I'll ever get back to the States do won't be sailing on any of this Class. I Will be sailing on Ovation of the Seas again next year. Another cruise to New Zealand will be a lovely break after so long on land.
Stick to your village. It's the best place in the world. I live in Tokyo, my wife loves luxury and flying around the word, but I just need a bit of alcohol, popcorn, and your videos (movies are welcomed too). That's all, just have fun and enjoy where you are. Nothing will make you happier than you own place, I believe.
This was mind blowing even for a working class westerner. I've only been on ferries to Ireland and was lucky enough to be on a cruise to the Barrier Reef on a wave breaker. Where an average person is limited to 2-3 decks on the ship, these ships are a floating city and shopping centre. However it isn't my version of a holiday and would get cabin fever part way through the cruise.
It’s so shocking that the price of a cruise ship would be a house… like here most people could do a cruise if they were able to save several months of paychecks depending on salary.

I think the guy behind the camera was giving them the false impression that only rich people can afford to go on these ships. It wouldn’t cost millions of rupees for a 7 night cruise unless you were staying in penthouse suites. These ships are definitely impressive, but they do not cater to wealthy people any more than people staying in the cheapest cabins onboard.
Y'know, I'll bet there's a cruise-ship that - while making it's way through the Indian Ocean area - makes a stop somewhere on the east coast of India, then makes it's way around to the other coast and stops somewhere there (or vise-versa); I'll bet the price for just that leg would only be maybe something like around $600-$800(?), with *everything* included. And probably wouldn't be more than 4 days, *maybe* 5 days; so long enough to see pretty much everything, but not so long that they'd start feeling like rats trapped in a humongous maze! You might need to pay a bit extra to have somebody available to stay with them when they're wandering through the whole ship. Both to make sure they don't get lost; *and* to explain things to them that they can't really quite grasp, due to lack of experience! Definitely want to send a couple of camera-folks with them! Maybe that could be crowd-sourced?!?
Do tickets on this ship really cost, as the guy said, "millions of rupees"? According to the latest online exchange rates, 1M rupees is nearly $13K US. So tickets cost around $25K - $39K or higher?? That's extraordinarily expensive even for a luxury cruise ship! Most of the ones I've heard of are much, much cheaper than that.
Kind blacksmith, it would take a person of your skill to ask important questions about the build of the ship and rust prevention. Those 18 floors are for the public. How many floors for kitchens, for repairmen work shops, for crew sleeping, how many stories for the engine room??? Thank you for sharing fellas!👌👌👌
There are actually 17 decks. Deck 3 is part passenger areas and part crew cabins. Everything below that, decks 2, 1, 0 and Tween are crew only, with crew cabins on decks 2, 1 and 0. the Tween deck only has offices, workshops, storage etc.
I've gone to harmony of the seas and oasis of the seas. Other was in the Caribbean and the other in the mediterranean. Tho the Mediterranean was way cheaper becouse i live in EU xD.
I will never waste money on a cruise but considering I would throw it away on the latest PC rig I probably should not be to judgemental. But at least a rig lasts a few years.
Fun Fact: A ship captain can legally marry couples in International waters. There are no laws or rules & regulations, I read a story about a guy who married a sex doll that he dressed up as a Japanese anime character, a waifu. People are strange.
I am surprised that these men did not become offended by the women in bikinis. Their strict religious ideals prohibit women ( in their culture ) to expose that much skin. This is a topic I would have liked to see a reaction to. Would they be embarrassed ? Would they turn their eyes away ? Would they get a "stiffy" ?
I dont know man, if i was to go out on sea, id want to experience sea.. not downtown, not a mall. Ocean liners are way more suitsble. This is good for super rich that wanna spend their money and dont care about the ocean or bunch of college students that just wanna say they did it and get hammered and not care about the actual cruise. Maybe its just me but id waaaayyy rather go on the titanic, assuming it doesnt sink of course 😅
I am sad, now. "It takes a life to gain a million rupees, then they spend it all on one trip" One million rupees is just a little over 100k NOK, which is 1/4th of an average yearly salary.
@@thekaren1111 Blame that on the PLANDEMIC! Americans can afford a cruise even while living paycheck to paycheck. Many people book a cruise a year in advance and pay it off over time WITHOUT racking up credit card debt. There are cruises for $199, so what are you talking about? I don't need to google anything to determine who can afford that. People are not going to refuse to vacation simply because YOUR finances can't afford one. I just got offered a cruise in a balcony cabin for $50. If that's not an affordable vacation I don't know what is affordable then!
@@thekaren1111 Did I not say "most" Americans. If dems hadnt fucked up this country a lot more could afford to go on a cruise. If people would stop buying $1500 dollar phones and cars they cant afford they'd be far better off.
Yasssssss!!!!! This is what I was saying!!! Sadly, these vloggers suck. Self absorbed instead of showing the ship. Oh no,babu and sarru is missing this! Should show them when they come!!!
Those who have been on a cruise would find this 18 story giant out of their budget and would have been speechless at the number of levels and things to do. One of the biggest things, is how many people these ships carry and how easy or difficult it is for the cruse line to fill their ships to where they make a profit. The pandemic must have just about killed them. Personally, I would not want to go on a cruise. You are trapped no matter what when between destinations. Too many things could go wrong, AND if someone brought on an illness that was highly contagious, you are at the mercy of what the crew can and can't do to either help or get to a port with medical facilities. Can you imagine how bad a situation like that could get? Especially if a great number of employees got sick too. Nope, nope, nope. Not worth taking the chance.
@@xymonau2468 Yea, but what if you go on one you think you'll like and while your in the middle of the ocean you find out you don't like it? You can't get off at the next port, (outside of your country of origin), then you would have to pay your way back home, IF, an airport was available. Of course, they could offer a person a row boat and let you row back home. LOL I know, bad joke. :~(
@@dochubbell Years ago, they had something called "the cruise to nowhere". It was a short 3-day cruise that left New York, went out to the ocean, essentially parked there (or went slowly in circles) for a day or so, then came back. My mother and her friend (and with myself and my friend in tow) wanted to try this to see whether we'd like it or not. It was just a little taste of cruising, to "get your feet wet", so to speak.😉 We learned that you shouldn't skimp on cost, if possible, because you'd find yourself without a porthole to look out of, and a tiny stateroom located adjacent the noisy, thrumming engine room. Nevertheless, with lesson learned (and also learning that deep discounts and upgrades were often available), we did go on a couple other cruises, on much better ships (still tiny by today's standards), and much better itineraries.
@@patriciamorgan6545 Yea, best to do some extensive research before deciding to go on a cruise. I still wouldn't want to go on a huge boat with potential problems. You just can't escape whatever might happen...... unless you are a miracle swimmer and a shark whisperer.
Whoa whoa whoa whoa...what the hell is this video talking about with tickets on the ship costing "millions" as in multiples of a million Rupees?!?! Yeah, I am sure that you could get a top end suite on the ship and it might cost upwards of a million Rupees...but a million Rupees is about 12,500 USD, so for the ticket to be worth "millions" Rupees it would be over $25k. I think we all know that the vast majority of the people who go on this cruise are paying just a fraction of $25k for their tickets...most folk won't be paying more than a tenth of that for their ticket...Royal Caribbean advertises 7 night cruises on Wonder of the Seas starting at well under $1000 per person.
there's actually people that get retirement money that is not enough to live normally in their own country anymore, but enough to travel on these cruise ships all year long. Is that sad or good ?
