Ohhh i LOVE when they started singing the "hallelujah" with the choir! that's the whole reason religious songs like that had repeated words/phrases, to encourage people to join in. :) this is a wonderful video!!

The Villagers are very good singers and they loved the chorus of Hallelujah from around the world. The expressions on their faces says they experienced heaven here on earth, the music of Angels. Amen.

I'd know that organ anywhere; that's the Mormon Tabernacle organ, one of the biggest and best in the world. I don't know if the guys know that Hallelujah is an ancient Hebrew word which expresses praise and adoration of God. In some ways it is similar to ॐ.

I so wish that the words had been translated for them so that they knew it was a song in praise of God. "King of Kings" "He shall reign forever and ever" etc. I believe they would have found it even more intense.

As soon as they began to sing, I got goosebumps all over my body. The power of the human spirit and consciousness coming together on harmony, absolutely beautiful, Hallelujah. 🙌🏻

Some people in my city use Handel’s Messiah (of which the Hallelujah chorus is one small part), as the anthem for he Christmas season. It is performed in many halls. Some would gather and sing along with the orchestra and chorus. It’s a sorely missed tradition that we hope to restore soon. (Along with many other choral concerts.)

Frederick Handel's "Messiah" is still the most Joyous Opera ever!

As Americans we complain about what we don't have and these simple appreciate the things that we take for granted. The joy that they showed brought tears to my eyes.

I would love to see their reactions to a brief clip of Freddie Mercury's early life followed by Freddie leading thousands in vocal exercises in a packed stadium. Since they have heard some opera they might also enjoy Freddy Mercury and Monserrat Caballe's "Barcelona" They should know a man of Indian heritage performed at huge sports stadiums all over the world and was beloved of many thousands.

I use to sing in chorus when i was a child. I remember singing that song with a big organ in a Cathedral. This song is very powerful. One of the best memories from my childhood. I felt emotional to see people online joinging the chorus as if i was with them.

I just love them all! The Hallelujah Chorus is so beautiful. I have not performed it since 1988 but I still remember my part.

When the weight of the world gets me down, I come to watch these videos. Babu is the grandfather everyone needs and the younger boys are wonderful. The kindness and wonder that they show for different parts of the world is something we all need. I would love to share a meal with them and talk about all the wonders of the world.

That is, I believe, the Tabernacle in Salt Lake City. That organ is one of the finest in the world. I attended a recital once in that building, and the organ was played by a visiting musician - the chief organist for the Vatican. He played from sheet music for a while, and then at the end he just tested out the organ, to see what it could do. When he played some of the lowest notes, the building vibrated, and he turned to the young man who was turning his pages, and he said, "Wow!" After, he stood by the door, signing the programs. I asked him what he thought of the organ, and he said, "I have never played one that would rival it." Very impressive.

Beautiful! I loved hearing them join in on the hallelujah. The Hallelujah chorus is part of the greater work Messiah, which is occasionally put on as a csing your own Messiahc, where the audience members join in. My mother and I went to one once. It was a lovely occasion - I'm glad they got a chance to experience it! And I've said it before, but Babu is a natural conductor!
