Ville Valo speaking about the song "The Foreboding Sense Of Impending Happiness" from the upcoming record Screamworks: Love In Theory and Practice. www.heartagram.com www.heartagram.no www.warnerwall.no
i seriously hate it when he gets all insecure and bashes their songs. he couldn't be anymore wrong about this song! this is one of their BEST songs and in my opinion it's THE BEST song (sound wise) on that album! then again, that's just the opinion of a girl who loves new wave and synthpop. and those keyboard notes hit the spot JUST RIGHT! ;) i would give this song 7 out of 7 hearts!
I think about 80% who listen HIM is in the same emotional level, we feel Ville's songs with our hearts & souls and they saying: damn! this is absolutely magical creation!!!! I think If this song was written in 80-s, it would be a legend! IT IS anyway)))!
I love this song for the fact that it is different. It's always enjoyable to hear a bands influences outside of the genre which they play themselves. The 80's ambience and lyrics makes this song a firm favourite of mine.
Ironically it's my favourite song off the album. I imagine if Ville Valo had a solo album. It would sound something like this and I'll admit, I want it to happen.
Ville is planning a tour dubbed Neon Noir--tickets are already on sale--some shows are already sold out... and yes, he captures this sound on a lot of them including THE FOREVERLOST...
I didn't grow up in the 80's but I loved this song, In the arms of rain is also one of my favorites off the new album. I've noticed that this album isn't as dark as their others, it's more like peace and happiness, considering what he's said about the songs.
I was born in 91' but grew up with my parents music . I love this song as much as the other ones..your music helps me go by everyday's hardship .thank you.be safe,be healthy wherever you are, guys ❤️
FAVORITE SONG FROM THE ENTIRE ALBUM!!!!..... the song kicks sooooooo well with my badass system and the subwoofer.. the sub kicks so hard. KEEP making more of this!
Most hated tracks of them all??? Fuck no IT'S MY FAVORITE!! I can listening to this song all day.. & I didn't grow up on the 80s .. This song is just so relaxing & everything! (:
That song is one, if not THE favorite off of the album for me. Then again, I grew up listening to The 80's music and Black Sabbath. (why the hell do you think I love this band). It takes you to a totally different place when you listen to it. ♥
I love love love this song! I could listen to it all day long and never get sick of it. I think they should do some more of this kind of music or come out with a instrumental CD with all the best songs.
This is my favorite song of the new album and I cannot believe when he said this song gonna be the most hated. I cried the first time I've heard this song. No words needed but PERFECT.
I am glad he mentioned Linde I show love to Ville Valo a lot but the others were equally great and beautiful. Linde from his unique dreds hairstyle to growing them out Long and his Daniel Lioneye side project to his guitar skills were all lovely 🌹
This was my and my daughter's favorite song from an album I absolutely adored. There is not one album HIM or Ville has put out I hated. of course I love some songs more than others but this was among his absolute best. Can't wait to see Ville do his thing in GA...
Wah. His speaking voice is so SEXY. Also, I love this song. Perhaps I am a fan of cheesy 80s ness or something. I do love Cocteau Twins a lot. The title of this song is just amusing though.
Ville was TOTALLY wrong! This is one of THE BEST songs on the entire album! Of course, the whole thing is absolutely brilliant, but I love this one the most!
This song is fucking haunting to listen to, and the title is just beautiful. It's by far one of the best on the albulm, and perhaps the best ending song yet, though I can't get over One Last Time. And I'm glad he mentioned Vangelis as an inspiration, cause it really reminds me of Memories of Green.
he has same nervous tics as me:P playing with fingers:P and the gestures while talking.... i love him and when i first listened to the screamworks preview i liked "for love in limbo"" and TFSOIH most..then i started loving all of them:)
This song is like a return to Razorblade Romance and Deep Shadows, it reminds me of Love you like I do and Beautiful. I really like it, the perfect end for the album!
my comm hasn''t appeared. This song, katherine wheel and in the arms of rain are my fav but TFSOIH is special, it's the best album ending song, it's like the last chapter of a volume of a book, giving u a special feeling, conclusios of the vol before and mistery for what will be after,it's really a "foreboding sense of impending happiness", a "bye bye and see ya soon, i'll be back" or sort of a cassandra positive prediction for ville's mysterious ""katherine wheel", "venus doom",he looks in love
Hell no no way I could hate that song. Its my fav for sure. Its even inspired me to write a vid for it. very dreamy. Its the kind of song that I could lay down under the stars on repeat and live in my imagination forever with
wow Ville Valo sounds much better now that he isn't a drunk (and major chain smoker) anymore! I can finally understand what he says... and what he says makes sense! ahahah
The most hated track? lol From what Ive heard of it, it sounds amazing! Definately a lof of Love Metal Elements I think. Loves Requiem meets Depeche Mode :D
I love that its different! great vibe! But I think it's also because nowadays i mostly listen to electronic music. HIM gives me a nostalgic feeling because I listened to their songs in my teens ^_^
r u kittieng me ville? why would enyone hate this song?this is my favorite from the album and if i think about it,its my favorite from all the athor albums too!when i first heard it i transcended to another dimention :))
I agree with DarkAngelSoul100. I adore this song, it has a very sexual rhythm beginning very slowly and building up...makes we ponder.....................
anyone know how he got this pretty strong american accent ? i remember listenin to an interview sometime in 2001 and being so surprised he could speak excellent british english..
