I nearly crapped myself..I had no idea Ville could get that angry!

I'm so sad I missed all HIM concerts before the farewell tour. I live in Canada and they never came less than a 10+ hour drive from home. All those classics I never got to see performed live cry😢

Id like to bet anything that when the people in the first couple of rows saw that their hearts dropped into their asses.

I love it! I saw this concert in NJ. One of the best ever but the sound quality in this is much better. The music was too loud in NJ n that's not his fault at all. Anyone would get frustrated about simpler things all day long. It's called being human. Ville rocks n rules!

I like Mige's high backing vocals here! They sound very nice!

He gets it from his mother too. He's said that his mother is very temperamental and his father is super calm.

When I saw them in Portland, the drums were too loud then, too. I can imagine that after so many shows with the sound quality just not being up to par, one would get a little bit pissed off. I also definitely understand the fact that he was quitting smoking... tempers can be very strong. He just wanted to convey his music as close to perfect as possible!

Obviously he wished to take a microphone from rack and microphone's cord has been setted too short and he was not able to do it. Ville just love his work, love his music and respects his fans who come at his concerts, he is very sensitive to any barriers during the concert. Plus he has stopped to smoke and alcohol after many years. It's a very hard and to make him so nervous, that's it.)

I was there, too! So glad you caught this on video and with good audio to hear what he was saying! :) It was a great night, wasn't it? :) I'm proud of Ville for quitting smoking--and like he said, a $500 is better to take out his 'short fuse' on than ruining his lungs, brain and....reproductive organs. LOL :P

Whatever his problem was, he could have thrown the microphone down anytime, but chose to throw it at the tech. Definitely a diva moment. I hope he apologized to the poor guy.

Ville seemed to be somewhat tense during the whole Screamworks album tour. My theory is that the band was kinda tired of touring; thus the two-year break. He seems to be in a way better shape nowadays.

It would have been so cool at that moment if the crowd would have taken over and kept singing the song till they got things fixed.

Wow alot of you dont seem to realize somethings so ima fill you in During this time America put a ban on smoking indoors ville valo suffers from serious serious social aniexty which is why you always seem him smoking like a train and drinking on stage, At this same time ville almost died due to drugs and alcoholism coping with depression from the fallout of his long time fiancee which led to His ending of friendship with bam margera even through all this he came out to put on a show for you the fans and your gonna talk shit right now? cause he tryed to do something positive to cope whilst being loyal to his fans??? and unfortunately lost his footing and cool for what 10 seconds? before recovering and finishing the show? Hes human and probably went through more nasty shit in a span of 3 months then 90% of you have in a year amongst the stress of touring and everything else that was going on i didn't even mention. Give him a break

yeah, its pretty damn simple to understand. he did quit smoking.. which... is very hard to do, and he tried to quite in the middle of a looong tour. so that and the fact that the sound just wasnt right, Ville has every single right out there to have a little fit. :)

I probably would've raged too if I was in his position. He's trying to sing a sentimental song, he had just quit smoking and he was done with alcohol. And, he's said he's always nervous on stage so I understand why. All of that all at once can be too much sometimes. He handled it like a pro.

Ville is a normal person, with normal feelings. Just because he's a rockstar doesn't mean he isn't going to snap sometimes. He just tries to hide it in the public. I can tell you right now, If I ever got as much publicity as their band has, I'd be snapping all the time. So I think Ville does a pretty good job at containing it.

@demian737 Even if it's not very simple! The thing is that he has to pay these guys and they don't get it right. I'm sure paying the stage crew takes away from the money that he and the band could be receiving. Fixing a car isn't simple either, but if you pay someone to do it and the fuck it up, then you get angry. It seem as if he always leaning down to fix the mic stand. Have you noticed that he's now ditched the microphone stand?

@TonyRomeoOfficial naw he was pissed at burton and linde. i was there and at first he like signaled linde to lower the valume or something and then he flipped out on burton. i'm really not sure what happened but jdging from what i saw there and on this video it seems like that is what happened. and it makes sense because ville is always wanting the volumes changed when they play live. although i've never seen him act like that before.

@demian737 Because I'm not a trained and paid professional. They do this kind of thing all of the time and I don't know why it's the mic stand that doesn't work. It would make more sense for it to be something a little more complicated. And by the way, I would love to fix it for Mr. Valo. People can build fucking rocket ships, but it's the little things like microwaves or microphones that they just can't get right.

Someone should really ask him what's going on with the mic everytime, 'cause really: There's always something!! :D I think it's mostly 'cause they don't put enough volume from the mixer into it! Maybe Ville have so bad hearing that they just can't put the volume over the limits and that's why he got pissed off.... I dunno!

@LorrelleiValo I agree with this. I actually thought to myself why do I bother trying to see this band because the sound is so shitty. For some reason when I'm there I can barely make out what he says into the mic and the volume for his singing is always too low or for whatever reason you can barely hear him and it's generally shit. I saw them once and the crowd drowned out almost the entire thing. I was so pissed off I nearly left during the concert. Seriously.

@yoshicolin666 Why not? He is a rockstar after all lol. I think its more of a big deal with Ville coz he is normally such a calm placid person. He is however human after all and he had recently given up smoking so he lost his cool for a few moments. Its not like some of these other "rockstars" who throw a tantrum by walking off stage never to return let alone finish the gig. I think true HIM fans would forgive him of his moment of madness like you would forgive a family member's mistakes.

Doing this shit, as a sound technician, Valo lose all his respect to the audience and of course, to that poor guy. Prepare the perfect sound to a band is hard as f..k, and always fail something. This act is unbelievable.

Get a better Sound Sytem, Stuff or check it before ! Comon. Don't know about what happend in private to him.. At the Line ..Comon and break me a limb at ... he seems p****. Like..hurry up. Thank God he didn't break him a Limb .He threw it on the Floor. Not directly at that Guy. He broke the Mic. ?
