If Guardians of the Galaxy was being produced by any other studio, the screenwriter wouldn't gone, "What? Groot only says 3 words? Screw that. He talks normally. There." and everybody would have gone along with it. This is a testament to the respect and integrity Marvel brings to all their films. In a lot of ways, even though they're a huge studio, in Hollywood they're the punk rockers.

Also how incredible is it that the writer actually took the time to sit down and write what the actual dialog Groot is saying is. There's basically 2 scripts for Groot! It's awesome!
