@@exequielvelasquez5166 mj can jump farther but cant u see vince's head is above the rim? Mans a legend. Plus vince has more strength but MJ is an all around GOAT
In my opinion he doesn't need a ring no more, he's already a legend. Andrew Bynum has 2 rings, and so on... but Vince Carter is an NBA legend, and that's much, much more than a ring. To this day basketball people buy his Raptors jerseys... that's Jordan's or Bryant's level. Years go on, but you still remember this crazy dude.
+Max Frishberg the best basketball video maker has finally some competition :D. Great job "NBA". This means a lot for Vince Carter fans all over the world.
+Stephen Curry you called someone else salty on a another comment. You're over here trying to act like a big guy on the internet. I don't know why you have to be salty because you probably don't like VC or something. You take this L Mr. Bandwagon.
+Stephen Curry Hmmm your name is stephen curry from the team that won the finals last year and your picture is the broncos who just won the super bowl. You probably bandwagon for every good team because you need the Ws. Your real life is full of Ls
@@Ultimagicarus Yeah, there had been several imitators. But no one with the grace and finesse of Vince Carter. His 360 windmill and between-the-legs can never be bettered!
+DigitallyDistracted lol get educated kid. Vince became an even better player in the highlight reels and across the stat board once he got traded to New Jersey.
He was at his best as a player his first couple years with New Jersey..you could maybe argue 2001 with Raptors but otherwise he was just as good on Nets, but a better Shooter, better Passer, better pick n roll player. It's a toss up between 01 and first couple Nets years. Better dunker on Toronto obviously.
There was and there will be no second Vince Carter. Mike is Mike, Kobe was Kobe, LeBron is LeBron, but Vince is the best dunker in the entire history of the NBA. Body control, jump height, power, authority, charisma, pure raw skills, creativity and strength.
He was probably top 3-5 in terms of pure skill/athleticism. But he was not a top 3-5 all time player. He was one of those guys that could literally do whatever he wanted at any time but there were times when his head wasn't in it. There's a reason why Kobe has 5 rings and Carter has zero.
Best dunker of all time, and it's not even close. yeah there have been some phenomenal dunkers; Shawn Kemp, MJ, JRich, Wilkins, Gerald Green all come to mind, but none of them come close to the things Vince could do in the air. It was almost superhuman, and we may never see something like this again.
+Deez Nuts Who was the best player who has played on the Raptors? T-mac. Who was the player who performed the best in a Raptor's uniform? Vince Carter. Tmac was limited on Raptors. He may have never been able to become as good as he did if he didn't leave. That's why I don't get why people say he should have stayed on the Raptors. He only had one decent season with the Raptors. His first was underwhelming due to lack of PT. His second was cut short by the lockout. And his third was the first year it started to become clear that he had potential to become a great player. Although there was almost no indication that he was going to become as good as he did.
Some of the greatest dunks of all time! Arguably best dunker of all time period! And a great player overall, he really is one of the greats! Love ya Vince!
What a beautifully edited video. The dunks finishing on the beats is fantastic, especially the big ones, but then it's contrasted between big hitters, sometimes dunking to the beat, sometimes just flowing. Whoever made this video found the perfect music and the perfect subject. Great job! Also, if anyone claims VC isn't the best in-game dunker ever, I think I know the link to send them. And this is just his Toronto highlights; he played 14 more years after this.
20 years later, I can watch a Vince highlight video every day and it brings me joy. It was hard to be a Raptors fan in the early days. Even fellow Torontonians usually mocked the team, Raps did nothing but lose, and 80% of the games weren’t even televised. Vince changed EVERYTHING and firmly established a following for a franchise that was otherwise doomed.
Damn that was amazing experience. Great highlights. I was in us once, and i saw Vince in his prime. I'm 6.0, and i was highflyer :D i broke my kneecap because of that, and now i'm grounded. But noooo regrets. That clip made my day. Thanks bro
