My mother's favorite soap opera was The Guiding Light. Vincent Irizarry will forever be Lujack in my head no matter how many years pass.

❤❤ In the 3rd grade I had to do an oral presentation on best character in books, or on tv or film. I did Lujack. Teacher was surprised I was watching soaps at that age, but I got an A. 😂😂

That is true… when the world was being isolated, Alan brought a lot of us together using social media to enjoy and remember fondly the days of GL and ATWT. I have had some wonderful interactions with people because of Alan, and for that I am grateful.

Agree with his message, 100%! GL community is so wonderful, and it is so nice to hear updates and stories from all the cast! Thank you for this channel. Isn't it weird to think how we're probably the last generation of soap fans? It won't ever be the same as it used to be when we arranged our classes around our fav soap and spent money on tapes to record it when we were out! We worked for our fandom! Maybe that's why it has stayed in our hearts all these years.
